I inadvertently deleted the entire zoom file of a one hour recording. is there any way that that recording can be recovered, or are all zoom recordings saved on the cloud, or is there any way to get it back?

Hey, @FrMark –
Sorry to say – If your recording was local, and if there was no cloud recording, it’s gone. Zoom only makes recordings that you ask it to, and at that point, the files are yours to maintain – or delete. There are no “extra recordings” you can request, and Zoom only makes Cloud recordings when you request it to.
If you recorded to the cloud, however, once you “delete” the files by putting them in the trash, they remain in the trash for 30 days, and can be “undeleted” with a couple of clicks.
Are you a paid DropBox user? DropBox can be configured to copy your Zoom cloud recordings to DropBox automatically, and won’t delete them until you take the action to delete them. That’s how I guarantee long term access to my recording files.
