We have two approved Zoom Room configurations (Neat Bar Pro, Neat controller). We have in-person and online participants. Speakers vary so the speakers' equipment varies. We ask speakers to ensure they can connect to an HDMI cable. We also have a lav mic EVEN THOUGH the Neat bar has great voice reinforcement (and sound canceling).

What is the best practice to ensure a speaker can share their content (including any audio from their computer) with participants both in-person and in the zoom room session?

Currently, I'm testing these config instructions:

Speaker must have zoom desktop app installed.

Speaker must have a zoom login (I guess this could be provided by us).

Speaker must have HDMI connection.

Speaker enters sharing key and meeting password.

What audio checkboxes are needed to ensure computer playback is heard by online participants?

Thanks!

There is no issue when the whiteboard is not shared. Also the anoation on top of the shared content is working.

I noticed that the Zoom Desktop client 5.13 release note mentions the calendar sync fix. Will the same fix be applied to the latest Zoom Rooms client?

Hey,

We have certain desks in our workspace that can only be reserved by members of our Client Accounting team. Our COO noticed that, sometimes, they are not being used and are empty for several days. To get the most of these limited hot desks, I'd like to be able to open the workspaces up for anyone to reserve after a certain time, 10am for example.

Can this be done currently or is this by any chance in the pipeline of things to come?

Hi All,

We are facing issues where when we put our content for digital signage in a OneDrive, the connector is now giving some code errors.

{"code":30051002,"message":"unknown error","success":false}

Has anybody faced this issue before?  Can someone advise what is causing the issue? This is not the first time we are using this as we have been using this method of placing the content in OneDrive for months.

Appreciate your help on this.

Hello,

When sharing screen in zoom rooms and running a power point presentation the transitions lag and embedded videos are very poor quality compared to what's on the computer running the presentation.

Any suggestions?

I get the same results in different rooms and it also dosen't matter if it's through a cable connection or wireless.

Thank you.

The size of closed captions in a meeting using Zoom Rooms is much smaller than the closed captions in a meeting using the Zoom Desktop Client. The attached screenshots display the difference in caption size.

In both screenshots I have used the respective closed caption settings to increase the size of captions as much as possible. The problem is simply that the maximum size for closed captions when using Zoom Rooms is significantly smaller than when using the Zoom Desktop Client.

This is a major issue for our organization because we have recently purchased multiple Zoom Rooms licenses and completed substantial hardware changes to 3 of our meeting spaces, which now all depend on Zoom Rooms, but are serving an audience that is heavily dependent on the availability (and legibility) of closed captions.

We are using Zoom Rooms via an installation of the Zoom Rooms for Conference Rooms and Touchscreen Displays on a Windows computer, and an installation of the Zoom Rooms Controller app on an iPad.

My computer's mic has poor pickup.  Application is a large room with a dozen participants and several remote.  I was advised by another user that I could substitute the mic on my cell phone for the one on the computer by dialing into the meeting, shuting down audio output on the cell phone, and turning off the mic on the computer.

That is, the cell phone is in the same large room as the dozen participants and the computer.   I get too much feedback, I believe the loop is between the computer's speaker and the mic on the cell phone.

Can anyone think of a solution ?

Has anyone tried this successfully ?
