I had a meeting today, so we used Zoom app for it. However, the audio and video were breaking so badly that we couldn't continue our meeting. We had no other option but to wrap it up earlier. My boss gave me a mission to fix it. Would you please give me any advice to make the audio and video back to normal?

I evaluated Zoom Phone (with a paid seat for a few months) for my company previously. During this time I provisioned some Polycom phones to Zoom Phone for testing. Even though the devices were deleted and the Zoom Phone service was cancelled, Zoom still has the mac addresses registered to Zoom in Poly's ZTP service preventing registration with another provider. This is unacceptable considering this was a BYOD case, not zoom purchased devices. Zoom support hotline and sales do not answer the phone, after 2 days of attempting to reach anyone at your company. Can anyone help or have you given up on supporting SMB customers completely? The ridiculously poor support (circular chatbots, IVRs that lead to nowhere when calling zoom's toll free #, and unanswered emails) only reinforces that our decision to go with Dialpad was the right one.

I’m not sure if this will be faster than the support ticket, but I’m working for a startup company, and we’re working on building a remote workforce to handle the tasks of the company.

Two considerable risks with remote work are:

       1. Cybersecurity

                   The company before we acquired

                   and rebranded it had been hacked
                   on a couple of occasions, and that

                   is something we’re striving not to

                   repeat.

 

      2. Organization-wide cross-compatibility.

 

How I hope to correct this is by creating a Unifi network package every new hire receives that creates a seamless security protocol, and then it’s determining how seamless we can make it. We like how the Zoom phone works and is so seamless with Zoom Meetings but are wanting to offer desk phones that mesh into the secure network as IOT devices are dangerously insecure. All that to say, that leaves us with one phone option Unifi Talk Phone; however, since it’s a new player in the office phone space, it hasn’t been compatibility checked. Do any of you know what the minimum requirements for compatibility are?

Call queue not calling members

We are converting over to Zoom phone.  We have a call box at our loading dock.  I have an analog line from an ATA going to that device.  That extension has a phone number assigned to it also.  I have 3 members in a call queue that the call box dials.  The queue is set for sequential order. It is set to ring the following way:

  1. ext 100- receiving person's extension- User with unlimited package
  2. ext 200- Common area extension - unlimited package, set to not ring and fwd to an Auto Reception that in turn is set to call forward to a cell phone.
  3. ext 300- Common area extension - unlimited package, set to ring a poly desk phone for 15 sec then fwd to a call queue that will ring 2 other extensions, then fwd to an ext that is fwd to a cell phone.

 

When I press the button ext 100 rings for the set time (35 sec) then skips over ext 200 and rings ext 300.  I am not able to get the queue to ring ext 200 at all.  I can call ext 200 from a phone and it will ring.  

 

I am stuck at where to go from here.

I've assigned a US/CA Unlimited Calling Plan / Pro Features · Unlimited Domestic license to a user, but the user is still getting a message sorry you cannot place this call, your calling plan does not support calling to this destination. They are placing an external call via a desk phone (Yealink T54W)

 

I've already tried to remove the license and readd it, I've also tried deleting the user and recreating it. Still getting the same results. It's been around 12 hours since I setup the new user and am still getting the same results, so I dont believe it's because the system hasn't synced or anything. I've also tried resyncing the phone.

Will i kind a problem in zoom i cant find option for video quality adjust im using zoom app in my mobile..and i cant connect it to a device like Bluetooth speaker ..if its connected but there is no sound my phone is android ...i see the icon Bluetooth connected but there is no sound on my Bluetooth speaker....so i click the loudspeakers but the sound only on my phone...then about the quality video i would like us the lowest quality because my data draining fast if the video is hd ...i spent more load ...i spend 5 to 6 hours its our gathering in our church..im ok for lower quality video so its eats less mbs..the important i listen it clearly ..hope it work in my Bluetooth speaker thank you ..

Hello support team.

I already have a local zoom phone number in my account.
Now I also need to port my previous company phone number to my zoom account 302xxxxxxxx.
*this one I owned before I had a Zoom phone and is from a Portuguese phone company (+351) 252xxxxxx.
 
First, I need to check the cost and the monthly fee to have add new phone number in my account.
Then I need to know the steps I need to follow in order to achieve that.

We are receiving Inbound calls through Salesforce. Once the call is done, we have a record in the object "Zoom Call Log" created, including a signal status (You can see that in the screenshot enclosed).

 

My question would be here, does anyone know how this is triggered? I mean, how zoom differenciates status end, answered, missed, rejected.
