It's a major problem in the software that doesn't allow the devs to edit the CPU requirements checkbox.

If you buy an i5-4590 and an i3-10105, and install zoom on both, and then try to enable the '49 participants' checkbox, the system with the i5 will allow it, while the i3 system will not. Of course, as any competent zoom exec would of course know, the i3 is much more powerful than the i5, and especially in this case because both are quad-core, have the same amount of cache, and the i3 has hyperthreading.

Why did you devs build software that doesn't allow you to easily edit the CPU requirements field? Surely if it was, you'd have done it by now to reflect reality.

**If you're somebody other than a zoom exec or dev and reading this and wondering, yes I'm sarcastically mocking them for their dumbfounding decision to gray out entire features simply because they're too scared or lazy to read a spec sheet. The first structural equivalent to the 4590, the i3-8100, came out Q4 of 2017. 20-friggin-17.  The Zoom devs have been ignoring reality for 4 friggin years.

I have attempted to set up a new account using one of our company emails.  I have set up three other accounts that are similar names but have sequential numbers assigned to each of them The first account starts with the name Rxxxx-1@mycompanyname.tv however this first account doesn't seem to send me an activation email.  The other accounts increase in numbers and there is no issue and their activation went through.  Its really important that this first account has the #1 in it.  Any help would be appreciated to solve this issue.

Hello, This problem only occurred to me today. I create a meeting through Zoom API and it always set the wrong time.
I logged the parameters before sending the request and it's correct. But when I check on my zoom account, the set time is wrong (current time). I checked the set timezones and everything is correct. Did I miss something in here?

This is the parameter of the request before it was sent :

Hello everyone,

first of all, a short description of the hardware I'm using:

Apple MacMini M1 (MacOS Monterey 12.0.1), Samsung 4K monitor via HDMI (Screen A), ASUS mobile monitor via USB DisplayLink (Screen B)

If I want to release a video including sound in Zoom from a window on the second monitor (Screen B), the image freezes and the sound is transmitted. Doing this on the main screen (Screen A), everything works fine. I think, the reason of this problem is the DisplayLink driver here.

If I now run the video in full screen on the second monitor and share the entire desktop, it works. However, all events (e.g. who has just come into the Zoom waiting room, etc.) are now also displayed on the second screen (Screen B) and transmitted to all participants. But all the zoom windows are on the main screen (Screen A).

Can I change settings somewhere, so that these messages are only displayed on the main screen (Screen A) and not on the monitor that is currently being shared?

Thanks in advance!

Many greetings

Michael

I send a guest the link of my personal meeting room. When it's the time to start the meeting, I was waiting in my personal meeting room for the guest but at the same time the guest was also waiting in my personal meeting room for me.  so I exsited and  joined the meeting over and over again. (I got the email which told me that the guest joined my meeting room, so I entered with pushing 'start the meeting' from the email over and over again.) Eventually we connected each other but took some time to connect. I don't want this happen again.

detailed situation: a guest was in Hong Kong and I was in Japan. I use LAN cable for strong network and not sure what the guest uses.

It never happened when I connect with people in Japan(the same country) before.

I am confused with Zoom's documentation on the number of participants and the number of allowed breakout rooms and this is hard for me to test since its so many people. Thanks!

Dear All,

I have subscribe the Zoom Pro and planning to hold a general meeting. So during my general meeting i would like to let my attendees to vote and some of my polls will require multiple answers. Is there a way to restrict the number of answer for the attendees to pick for example 5 out of 10 choices.  Currently polling with multiple answer, attendees can pick all the choices.

Thanks,
