We are using Zoom Meeting and "record to cloud" and I am co-hosting. I join her in her meeting room, she sets the Spotlight on herself, then makes me her co-host and begins the class. From there,  I continue letting attendees into her room and at a certain moment in the class, as co-host, I start to record to the cloud.

We got a recording with a lot of freezes and we need to know if upgrading her outbound signal will solve the problem.

Is Zoom recording what my laptop is experiencing/relaying or what her tablet is beaming?  In a way this seems a dumb question (apols) because we know it is her camera and microphone, beaming from her tablet to all of us, but I genuinely would like to know if the Zoom Record function is just receiving/recording directly from her tablet's output, just like each of us as participants, or if the recording involves my internet signal with my laptop as a relay to the cloud recording function.

Zoom Camera Problem

Since upgrading to my current Zoom version (5.8.0, 1324, 32-bit), whenever I'm in a meeting, my camera only shows half my face (left half) and the total picture is squished/flattened). Everyone else is fine. Asking folks in the meeting, they say "I" ... Show more

Since upgrading to my current Zoom version (5.8.0, 1324, 32-bit), whenever I'm in a meeting, my camera only shows half my face (left half) and the total picture is squished/flattened).  Everyone else is fine.  Asking folks in the meeting, they say "I" look normal to them ... it's what I see on my end that's messed up.  When using my Surface Pro camera otherwise (not in a Zoom meeting), I look normal to myself as well.  Seems to be the newest upgrade somehow changed my camera relationship to the new program.  How do I fix this?  Would it fix the matter to try to "downgrade" and go back to a previous version of Zoom on my Surface Pro?  Any other ideas?  Help!  This is very annoying too.

Can't Zoom in FB group

For some reason for the past month, Zooming into myFB  group is no longer an option. The only option is my friends on my profile or for one of my list?

The zoom app is the group and I am an admin.

Thanks

pin a video

During a meeting, if only one member at a time opens their microphone and camera.
Is it possible for the host to pin the video for each member who opens the mic automatically, or does the host have to do it manually each time?

Early August my video picture started appearing badly pixilated...but only to me.  Others in the zoom room see a proper video of me????  I have spent an hour on chat with two different people in Zoom support but neither could help.  One had me enable Group HD in both account and settings.....the other had me change compatibility to Windows 7.0 (my Zoom laptop is running 8.0)  I am stumped....and it was sudden.  wondering if happened during a recent Zoom update?  My update is current. HELP!

Honestly I'm not sure if this is the right location to post this, but I couldn't find a more suiting one. Anyway...

I'm trying to configure the Zoom app for Linux 32bit on a Raspberry Pi 400 with Raspberry Pi OS. As it's and ARM computer, I need to install it through an emulator, Box86. Problem is, everything seems to work so far except for the microphone which works so poorly it's unusable.
Looking for a solution, I stumbled upon this bug report (https://github.com/ptitSeb/box86/issues/257) which blames the introduction of background noise suppression for the poor performance on the machine.

So, I've also read somewhere that supporting a niche product such as the RPi is understandably not a priority for the Zoom developers, I thought to suggest them to let users disable noise reduction altogether (adding "None" among "Auto", "Low", Medium" and "High") to fallback to the app's previous behaviour as a workaround while Box86 figures out how to emulate the app better.  Could this be a good compromise?

Other users' screens freeze when one user leaves a meeting. Host's screen doesn't freeze

I am the host, and I allow my users to join the meeting before me.  When one person who joins before me leaves before me, the screen freezes for the others users.  They need to leave the meeting and join again.  How can I prevent this?
