The Zoom client I use for Slackware Linux is the "Other Linux" on from the list of downloads. When I schedule a meeting it always defaults to UTC, even though I get the message that it has fetched my settings from my profile. My Zoom profile uses EST (EDT now that we are on Daylight Savings Time). My Linux laptop shows the correct time and time zone. Does anyone know how to get a scheduled new meeting to default to my timezone? Perhaps an environment variable I need to set? Please advise if you have seen this and fixed it. I've attached a screenshot. Thanks!

I last used ZOOM on Friday 13/05/2022. At that time when I went into 'Meetings' there was a tab for POLLS/QUIZZES and I had a list of polls I had created. I would tick the ones I wanted that day (maximum of 10), then run a scheduled meeting and they would be there for me to launch. The POLLS/QUIZZES tab has gone and appears to now be at the bottom of individual scheduled meetings and all my previously saved polls are nowhere to be found. I am now having to recreate the polls/quizzes for each scheduled meeting then save the meeting as a template which saves the polls/quizzes with it. I can work with this going forward as I schedule new meetings but currently have 3 to 4 months of already scheduled meetings Support documentation suggests there is a selection to save polls in a central library but I cannot find it. I need to add the appropriate poll/quizzes to each of the existing already scheduled meetings but can't find a way other than creating new ones for each meeting or new meetings. Does anyone have a solution or even know when/why the polls/quizzes feature changed?

Hi. Every time I use Zoom and try to sign into a meeting, it claims I have an error code 1132--that I must reset my password. I then reset it and get into the meeting--which is good. But that will happen again (that error message and needing to reset my passcode) the next time I try to logon to Zoom meetings--even though I've made an accurate note of my Zoom sign in password. What can I do to prevent this/stop this from happening? Thanks in advance for your help. --Librarian11111

When I stop a screen share from VLC player the extended Zoom Window appears on monitor 2. This happens even while VLC is still playing. Here is the sequence of events. 1- Play a video from VLC player on screen 2. This is done by clicking the video in the playlist on monitor 1. 2- Start a screen share of monitor 2 using Zoom (Zoom is configured for dual monitors, always show meeting controls). The screen share is successful. 3- Stop a screen share from Zoom 4. The extended Zoom window will suddenly appear and cover over the video from VLC player playing on monitor 2. 5- To get the VLC video to show on monitor 2 I have to click again on the VLC window on monitor 1. This problem only occurs with VLC player. I tested playing a video using "Films and TV" and another video player and I don't get this problem. Has anyone experienced the same issue and found a solution? Your advice would be appreciated. Kind regards Chris

Hello, I've seen several posts in various locations about starting Zoom and sending a command line Arguments to have Zoom automatically join a Meeting with an ID and PWD. Since the Zoom UI also has the ability to choose a Contact and start a call with that person and it will ring on their device, I would like to be able to automate that same behavior. This is for Windows 10 and calling the Zoom.exe. Does anyone have a syntax for that kind of scenario? Thanks

When scheduling meetings in the zoom app for mac-I can select the calendar I want the invite to go to, but when I go to do the same action on the iOS app, the only calendar available is iCalendar. I have calendar sync on and the zoom add-on for gsuite installed. Has anyone encountered this?

I have a Logitech HD webcam C270. It has worked in the past for Zoom & Google Meet. It no longer works for Zoom but it does work for Google Meet. I've gone thru all the setting and I can't find anything that will change it. I've followed the basic trouble shooting Zoom offers with no luck (restarting the computer, etc.). I use Windows 10. Any ideas?

Hi! Anyone have the same problem? Resolve? I would greatly appreciate help. Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz
Unfortunately Zoom crashes and freezes, so I have to restart the computer (even ctrl-alt-del is not possible).
Zoom works fine as long as I don´t go to that tab. Unfortunately I can´t reach those settings though.
