If a participant experiences a drop-out in internet (we all know what that sounds like) does the audio that is being recorded also contain the drop-out? I'm trying to understand the best way to record audio while avoiding drop-outs when editing the final audio for a podcast.

Does the participant's audio get recorded locally and then uploaded to the cloud or their computer?

Or will the audio contain the drop-out if I, the meeting host, record the audio?

I'm trying to make sure that I get clean audio with no drop-outs during events like a participant is on Wifi or if their bandwidth is briefly interrupted.

Will allowing the participants to record locally provide me with a clean audio file despite bandwidth drop-outs?

Thank you!

Repeatedly when I've received an email "NAME has joined your meeting" ... a few minutes before the scheduled start time ... and started the meeting early, that person does not pop up as in the waiting room, to admit.

Often it's ~1 minute into the scheduled time before Zoom gives me the prompt that allows me to admit them. (And they are there -- they didn't leave -- waiting for me to admit them.)

Even when I've started the meeting on-time, the same delayed ability to admit them (despite their being present, per a Zoom email) has existed.

I DO want to keep using the waiting room. So stopping that is not a "work-around" for this issue.

Has anyone else experienced and resolved this issue?

Many thanks!

I'm new to Zoom; I know how to invite others to a meeting without their video being turned on. However, in that case their names are displayed in smaller boxes,  showing when they're speaking.

For a meeting, if I just want to record it and only see my video & audio, as well hear the audio of the other participants but not see the smaller boxes displaying the names of the audio participants -- how to I achieve this?

Thanks for your feedback.

Hi everyone, I can't seem to figure out how to add more than 2 dial-in numbers to be shown in an invite.

I enabled toll calls and added 7 Global Dial-in Countries/Regions (screenshots attached) from the admin console for global settings. But when anyone creates a meeting, there are still only 2 dial-in codes that are shown. Could anyone please help?

Hello,

My team sends out a copy of the presentation used after each of our training sessions.  Is there a way to use the automatic Follow-up Email to Attendees to do this?  I don't see a way to attach a file or add a hyperlink, so are there any other ways that users in the Zoom Community accomplish this automatically?  We are restricted from using Chat in Webinars at my company, so that's out.

Thanks!
