When I open the Zoom app and join a meeting my camera doesn't work on my MacBook. If I log in to my account on zoom.com and open or start another meeting via the website, the camera works. Opening the app actually shuts down my MacBook camera. It won't even function if I open another app such as FaceTime. If I close the Zoom app and enter a room via zoom.com the camera magically works.

Hi, I have a Mackie Onyx12 mixer. I can get sound out in my Zoom meeting by choosing Onyx12 1-2. However, whenever I choose Line (Onyx12) in the Microphone drop-down, I get an error "There seems to be an issue with your microphone, please select a different device and try again." I have my mic connected in channel 1. I know it works because I could hear it directly in my main speakers. It is just that I'm having this difficulty connecting it to Zoom. Appreciate help on how to make my mic work. Thanks, Mike

I have a user on my account that whenever she creates a scheduled meeting via the zoom plugin for outlook 2016, the HTML version is used. All other users, including myself, uses the plaintext version when scheduling meetings from the plugin. The problem is that our meeting room can't read the passcode when it is in HTML. So she is required to manually type the passcode each time she wants to join a meeting, in our meeting room, that she scheduled. I tried to go into our branding section to see if I could change the HTML version, but it doesn't seem like I can even edit the HTML version.
Everyone else in the company can join meetings in our meeting room without having to enter their passcode, since the plugin has always used plaintext for them.
When she uses the plaintext version she does not have to enter her passcode.
Anyone has any idea why her plugin uses the HTML version, and how I can get it to work properly so she doesn't have to type her passcode each time?

How do I remove the requirement for those joining meeting not to have to enter a password?
Hi, I did a Zoom meeting yesterday and did a quick test of whether I could record and convert the discussion. I could and we carried on with the meeting. I am now unable to convert the second, half-hour 120,748 KB file which is what I need. I see a file double_click_to_convert_01.zoom but I can't get beyond the Failed to Convert Recording message including the invitation to open a destination folder and rename. Any suggestions?

Can I Lock Meeting by default? My participants get credit for attending at least 50 out of a 60-minute presentation. The problem is that when I log in to the meeting, people are already in the waiting room (some up to 30 minutes early) so they only need to sit through part of the meeting to get credit. Is there a way to lock the meeting by default so participants can't join until I join a few minutes before our scheduled start time and unlock the meeting, then they go into the waiting room until the meeting starts? I like the Lock Meeting feature, but I wish I could lock it by default for every meeting.

I recently experienced an issue with selecting the "optimize for video" when I started a meeting from Zoom Room. The option appeared grayed out when the meeting was started from Zoom Room, but it was selected able if it were started from a computer. Has anyone else noticed this? thanks.

I would like to know how I can monitor our invitees that we invite via outlook with zoom link. The invitees are in a distribution list. Every quarter we speak to these invitees so we would not like to let them register. Sometimes a person moves on and and will be replaced but the group remains stable. During the zoom call I constantly need to monitor that not an unknown person enters the meeting. Because everyone with the link can enter the meeting. Would there be another solution that I know when someone who should not enter the meeting does that?
