Downloading Meeting Recordings to keep permanently
To start, I am VERY non technical.
Can someone SIMPLY explain to me the best way to "save" a recording of a zoom meeting so it will be saved permanently and I can send it to others to view? I work on a laptop and not Apple.
Issues with Zoom in Live Learning Environments
We are experiencing issues at our virtual school when attempting to run live meetings through the Zoom app. Is this due to the most recent update that needs to run? The image shows pixelated. In some cases, sound does not work.
No video for participant
I just hosted a zoom meeting on my laptop with one other participant. Her video wasn't working and we couldn't find any settings to fix it. I have a Pro account and haven't had this problem before. Afterwards I remembered I had hosted a zoom meeting on one of my phones yesterday. Did I need to be signed out on my phone for zoom to work properly on the laptop? When I tried to access support via live chat I got the message that I didn't have the type of account with access live chat. Did that change recently for Pro accounts?

Using shared screen as virtual background
Hi, I would like to use my shared screen (currently using Onenote) as the virtual background, wondering if this is possible pls? I write quite freely during my lessons, so using Powerpoint as virtual background doesn't really work for me. Intention is to have a 'human cutout' of myself talking next to the screen as I'm writing - think this makes for a more immersive learning experience. Any advice is greatly appreciated, tks! Video instability
I had been having difficulty with intermittent video stability. Have Windows 11 and laptop. Went to support.zoom.us and then to zoom support and looked at the zoom installers. First choice was zoom desktop client for meetings and when I downloaded that file the video issue resolved (I rebooted the computer after the download). Went an entire hour without any issues.

Just started on Zoom
I have just started using zoom and I keep getting a pop up saying Unable to establish secure connection to zoom Open you browser to check your internet connection. This may happen if you have to login to your network, or you are using public Wi-Fi Now I am using my home internet how to I stop this from happening???

Resolved! Profile Names in Meetings Display Then Disappear
When I'm on a Zoom call, the names of participants display for a second or two and then disappear. I have to keep moving my cursor over the main window to bring them back.
Is there a way to keep the names on for the duration of the meeting?
retain virtual background image
when i select a background photo for my virtual background, Zoom retains for a day, then it defaults to my office. I've a laptop with an attached keyboard, screen, camera, & mouse. this problem arose only about two weeks ago after Zoom did an update. previously i added a photo which Zoom retained until i chose to change it which periodically i do. i believe that there is something in the update that is causing the problem. i contacted my IT person and he said there isn't anything he can do because he agrees it has to do with the update.
