Hello fellow Zoomers,

 

I have a rather perplexing problem - when I am on Zooms meeting through my browser (Google Chrome), my cam is zoomed in to approx 120% but it is not of my doing. I checked all my settings and it's all what it should be.  

 

Features of this Problem

- To be sure on where the problem is, I used another videoconf service on Chrome and the cam is as it should be, at 100%. So, the problem is not with the browser. Attached is a comparison between what my cam looks like on zoom vs other vconf service on the same browser taken at the same time. 

- Back on my Zoom meeting page, I looked at the console and an error was found - it says

One or more documents in this page is in Quirks Mode, which will render the affected document(s) with quirks incompatible with the current HTML and CSS specifications.

 

Could this be the issue causing my cam to be zoomed in?

> If so, is it something I can fix? Or is it something Zoom has to fix?

> If not, what could be the issue and what can I do?

 

Any help would be much appreciated. I've been googling and trying all sorts of things for more than a week now to no avail. Thanks!

- Macbook Air 2018 on OS 12.5.1

- External USB Cam

- Google Chrome Browser (Version 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (x86_64))

I am taking an exercise class using zoom. I tried accessing on my Android phone today and could not get the sound turned on. I have to deactivate my video and the sound at my end, which is easy to do on Android tablet. But I couldn't figure out how to get the sound on the phone. I know there was sound, because I switched to my tablet. Can anyone just walk me through deactivating my video and my mike, yet retaining the sound from the meeting source? Thank you!

Virtual background

It worked once last year and hasn't since then. Why am I still getting the halo affect, even with a green screen, when I try to use a virtual background?

recording will not convert - says there is not space, but there is lots!

Ugh. this suck.  I tried all the hacks I could find to get my recording to convert.  Nothing has worked.  

 

The failed to convert recording" message says there is not enough disk space, but there is. 

 

Ideas?

YouTube Video Not Visible but audio only

My YouTube videos cannot be seen by participants - can be heard only.  I checked the boxes at bottom to share video/audio.  Why is this happening?

Resolved! Feature Request - Chat Transcript emailed to host at end of session

Is it possible to create a feature where the hosts of the Zoom can get a copy of the chat transcript emailed to us? We just want the "Everyone" and private chats to the "Hosts" not everyone's private chats to each other. Thanks!Mike Show more

Ich habe einen Virtuellen Hintergrund gewählt. Das Problem hierbei ist, dass es um den Kopf herum, dann zum Teil verschwommen ist und nicht mehr so klar, wenn ich den Virtuellen Hintergrund weg lasse. Gibt es hierfür eine Lösung. Ich arbeite mit einem Mac.

Resolved! Message about 40min time limit with Pro license and 3 or more people invited

We have a Pro license for the "meeting" account in the conference room. This is a the licensed account, with the email address (local Exchange) that will be sending out the invites.However, when selecting for example 3 or more employees for an invite... Show more

We have a Pro license for the "meeting" account in the conference room. This is a the licensed account, with the email address (local Exchange) that will be sending out the invites.
However, when selecting for example 3 or more employees for an invite to a scheduled meeting, each time a message pops up that mentions that meeting for 3 or more people are limited to 40min and that we should upgrade to a "Pro" account (which we already have).
Is this just a "false" positive or could this be due to the fact that the Outlook plugin originally was installed through a different (free/Basic) account, which we are actually not using?
All meetings are to be scheduled through the "meetings" email account, though that even a technically 1:1 meeting actually would have 3 participants (in this case, the "meeting" account, which is on the machine in the conference room where camera and desk microphone/speaker is located, as well as one inhouse and one external participant (though they have the meeting in their calendar, even though, at least in the case of one or more inhouse participants, this is just for the calendar entry, but only one active participant at the host end is involved ("Meeting").
I am inclined to just ignore that message (there's even a checkbox for that) or would this meeting in fact be cut off after 40min?

I have Zoom Pro account and think that it is possible to do it.
