I am having issues with a new pair of Bluetooth headphones that I am using in zoom meetings. The old one works well without any issues, it was just too old and worn down so I had to replace it. (I am using a windows 11 computer). With the new headphones, I am having issues while on call. The microphone just stops working after 2 - 3 minutes in the call, I have to disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth manually for it to work again, and just gets disconnected after 2 - 3 minutes.

 

This is a lot of hassle since I am conducting online classes, and the mic stops working in the middle of my discussion. I tried to use the same Bluetooth headphones (the replacement) on a mac and it's working fine. It only has issues on Zoom when using windows. I tried using the same headphones with other applications on windows and they are working fine.

 

I tried the following fixes, but to no avail:

(1) Unpair and pair the BT headphones, then restart the computer

(2) Uninstall and reinstall BT drivers (under device manager)

(3) Updated the drivers for my computer (from the manufacturer's end)

(3) Uninstall and reinstall Zoom

 

What could be another way to fix this issue?

Meeting Recording

During a meeting that is being recorded, I want to make notes at specific points during the meeting that I can reference later during playback, like a bookmark.

 

How do I do this?

Resolved! I bought the Zoom One Pro plan. Why am I limited to 40 min? I don't get it.

Also I have not chat support? 

I have a very important meeting today, and this is causing me some stress. 

What plan do I need to buy to get me past the 40 min limit? I thought it was the Pro plan.

I tried to host a meeting where there were available breakout rooms for participants interested in a specific subject. The intention was to break up the conversations, while also making use of the MAIN room (where the primary conversation was going to happen).

 

However, having those open breakout rooms completely disabled the Reactions tab for all the participants (even Co-hosts) in the Main room.

 

Why is that? That doesn't seem like a feature to me, that seems more like a bug.

I am absolutely certain that I have recording several meetings that I've hosted so far. But when I go to my account and check "recordings" there's nothing there. I tried searching for them on my computer (Windows 10), but I can't follow the prompts offered in "help" because they don't correspond to my computer. Can anyone please help with this problem? Thank you very much!

Consolidating 2 Meeting accounts

I just paid for a License and wanted to apply that to a business email. I had already signed up for a free Basic account on my personal email. Now I have my new work email set up as a Basic account, and home email that was previously a Basic account ... Show more

I just paid for a License and wanted to apply that to a business email.  I had already signed up for a free Basic account on my personal email.  Now I have my new work email set up as a Basic account, and home email that was previously a Basic account now set up as the Licensed account.  How can I switch those or just delete the home email account and switch my License to the work email?

Ubuntu 22.04.1 - Scheduling of a meeting not possible

Perhaps somebody has the same experience:

I want to schedule a meeting but I get only a blank screen back.

Even when I removed the latest zoom version (flatpak) and installed it new, nothing changed.

Could it be a flatpak, ubuntu or zoom dilemma?

Hello,

We are looking at implementing the Zoom VDI system for our AWS environment. While We have successfully deployed it within our test environment following the instructions given, we have noticed one issue. When leaving for the night we quit AWS, and lock the local machine. For security our local machines are only used with user accounts. When coming back in the next day we sign into our local machines and start the AWS Client. Upon checking Zoom VDI Statistics Panel VDI Tab it shows disconnect as its connection state. Our current fix is to exit the Zoom VDI within AWS Client, restart the local machine, and restart the Zoom VDI after re-signing in. While on our end as System Administrators this is fine, our users will find this daily operation either annoying or disorienting.

Has anyone using AWS experienced this and might anyone have a solution? If we discover a solution I will of course update this discussion. Thanks!
