I have the zoom  Version: 5.9.3 (3169)

I notice a significant slow down of my laptop whenever I am in a zoom call with a person and doing screen sharing and audio communication,  no video sharing. What could be the reason for that? Is there any way to identify the issue?

Especially if I open any other software, things slow down a lot more. I am using a dell latitude 7410 laptop with 16 GB RAM.

Hi everyone,

when i create a meeting and want to open it, my screen show the following: The file has no connection with an app to execute this action. Please install an app or install a correlation for the standard app in your settings when you have already an app installed?

I have no idea what to do to be able to work again with zoom and to be able to plan meetings. Hope someone can help

eliminate need for users to start audio and video

We have several patients who are not computer literate and have trouble starting their audio and video. Is there a way to eliminate the need for users to start audio and video or a way I as the host can start it for them?

controlling view options during meeting.

As a Host of a meeting can I control which view the participants can use?  I want them to all be on Speaker View for a period of time during the meeting, and then allow the change to gallery view.  Is this possible?

Deleted recording

I have lost my important zoom recording to the auto-delete feature. Now this recording has been deleted permanently and is not there in the trash also. Is there any way to retrieve recording which is not there in trash also?

How to stop Mac mouse cursor from jumping to next slide

I use "Share Screen" to present PowerPoints on Zoom meetings. I use my iMac and Mighty Mouse. When using the cursor as a pointer, the slides often jump to the next inappropriately. It's very annoying and unprofessional. I don't see any solutions on t... Show more

I use "Share Screen" to present PowerPoints on Zoom meetings. I use my iMac and Mighty Mouse. When using the cursor as a pointer, the slides often jump to the next inappropriately. It's very annoying and unprofessional. I don't see any solutions on the Web. Going to system settings I don't see any solution.

Zoom application not opening

Sooo.... after switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11, my Zoom desktop client seems to not work at all... After installing Windows 11, i tried to open Zoom app, and noticed its not opening. So, obvious solution was to uninstall, and install again...... Show more

Sooo.... after switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11, my Zoom desktop client seems to not work at all... After installing Windows 11, i tried to open Zoom app, and noticed its not opening. So, obvious solution was to uninstall, and install again... and it worked, i downloaded zoom installer from zoom website, installed program again, made google login, had my meeting, ... until i shutted down my pc, and turned it on again.... Double-click on Zoom icon on desktop isnt working... Just a little blue circle spins a little bit next to mouse icon, aaand... nothing opens. No process active in Task Manager.  But, interestingly, the only way of opening it is through join meeting section on zoom website.... logging in, entering meeting info, then following steps... Zoom app opens, and works... Stubborn as i am, i even tried reinstalling Windows... Same thing... Any ideas?

Sharing Audio

We are having an issue with Zoom application on Chromebox for work meeting, where when someone shares their computer audio it mutes their mic and focuses on sharing the computer audio. We need the option to have it open so we can hear mic and compute... Show more

We are having an issue with Zoom application on Chromebox for work meeting, where when someone shares their computer audio it mutes their mic and focuses on sharing the computer audio. We need the option to have it open so we can hear mic and computer audio. We came from Webex and moved to Zoom. I really enjoy Zoom so far but, this has been one issue for us and our meetings. I'm hopeful there is a solution. Thank you.
