Registering for a zoom meeting

Can you use an excel csv file to import people into the meeting registration so you don't have to manually type their names to register for a meeting?

General information....

I'm not having a specific problem (as far as I know...) I just got fed up and nuked windows off of my hard drive and switched over to Linux Ubuntu as my primary OS. I just ran my first Zoom meeting in Linux and was surprised as some of the difference... Show more

I'm not having a specific problem (as far as I know...)  I just got fed up and nuked windows off of my hard drive and switched over to Linux Ubuntu as my primary OS.  I just ran my first Zoom meeting in Linux and was surprised as some of the differences between the Linux version and the Windows version.   Is it normal to be unable to move the individual windows around, or is this an issue that can be corrected?  I'm accustomed to placing the person who is speaking directly beneath the camera, and/or placing people who are "just listening" at the bottom of the screen and the people with video on at the top... but I can't do any of this.

 

Is there some setting I need to change, or is this just how the Linux version *is*?  Might seem like a minor issue to some, but it's disconcerting to be unable to do things I've been doing since shortly after the pandemic started.

 

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to make a backup of all zoom's cloud in one click? Or any integrations to download

Screen Sharing

Before when I screen shared, I could see myself and the other participants. Now I no longer can see us? Not sure what's going on. I'm not doing anything different than before. Thank you for helping

Waiting Room does not work for guests using Meeting ID

Good day, 

I am having issues with my waiting room not working, when a guest uses my Meeting ID. They can input the code and they get the "Waiting for the Host to let you in" message, but I never see them appear in the Waiting Room. 

 

I have verified that the settings are toggled on in the web settings and I cannot find a reason for this to have stopped working suddenly.

Stopping and Restarting the recording of a several hour-long meeting

I have a single Zoom conference bridge scheduled for 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. My plan is to stop the recording (but not the meeting) after individual sessions and restart the recording for the next session.Will Zoom be able to convert that many recordings... Show more

I have a single Zoom conference bridge scheduled for 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. My plan is to stop the recording (but not the meeting) after individual sessions and restart the recording for the next session.

Will Zoom be able to convert that many recordings into separate files at the end of the day? 

Am I able to restart recording while previous recordings are still being converted?

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
