In the last several meetings, the name of some of the attendees is showing up as the name for other attendees. Then when I generate a participant report, the same name is repeated multiple times. I'm attaching one of the reports here. I've deleted their last names and email addresses for privacy.

These reports are going to an administrator who uses them to give the attendees credit for participation. So, it's critical the reports are accurate.

Anyone know why this is happening? How do I fix it?

According to the Zoom support (see the below link),

https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/202460676-Time-limits-for-Zoom-Meetings

Free licenses (Basic) on paid accounts

Meeting ends after 30 hours (active or idle)

  • 1 host, no participant
  • 1 host, 1 participant
  • 0 host, 2 participants (join before host)

Meeting ends after 40 minutes (active or idle)

  • 1 host, 2 participants or more at the same time
  • 0 host, 3 participants or more at the same time (join before host)

Note: If participants leave the meeting and join again before their first connection is fully terminated, it may count them as two different participants and trigger the 40-minute time limit.

-----------------------------------------------

So I changed my account to a paid account and add other people to my account as a basic user.

But still they said they have 40 mins limitation with 1-on-1 meetings?

Pls help on this~~

Hello zoombies,

I have researched this topic and played with options for hours, with no solution. I am recording to the cloud, and have selected all the different recording options within Zoom, none have worked thus far. Hoping someone has the answer to this one!

I do two person podcasts, and we often screenshare. While screensharing, it would be ideal to have the thumbnails of both people on the call visible in that right portion of the screen. This is how it appears as we record live, but the cloud recordings only show the 1 active speaker at a time.

Does anyone know the solution? I will be eternally grateful. Thanks!

Carlos

* Zoom is all in full screen and in the main meeting (not in breakout room)

* I have more than 1 monitor

* I am the Host or Co-host

* Zoom has at least one breakout room aside from the main room

* Always show meeting control [unchecked]

Purpose: Video Broadcast Mixing

Situations where I encounter the problem:

1. When my mouse  is on top of zoom, pressing ALT key hides the controls but as soon as I move my mouse out of the zoom, the controls pops back.

2. I click the zoom window, move my mouse to another monitor and press ALT key. This hides the control but once you hover the mouse back to Zoom, it automatically pop the controls back. This will be seen in the broadcast mix.

3. Opens the Participant Window, Breakout Rooms Window, Meeting Chat window on top of the Zoom Gallery View so that I can hover my mouse without hovering the Gallery View. This seems absurd since it is covering my view to some participants.

4. It pops up randomly even when not hovering the zoom.

We run hybrid, synchronous a/v, interactive classes - looking for video technology that will enable virtual participants to see facial expressions of in person attendees. Now, all those in person show in one zoom box & facial expressions can't be seen. We've used a combo of Brio wide angle and an Owl. People complain that the Owl jumps around too much, dizzying, and all facial expressions lost with the wide angle.

Several of my clients and one of my teacher has had numerous issues with their cameras. The screen will randomly turn entirely green, or it will blurr completely or get snowed over like an old damaged VHS tape. The only fix that seems to work, albeit temporarily, is to turn the camera on and off. This isn't a hardware issue as it has happened to a variety of my clients all with different hardware and operating systems. Attached is a screenshot illustrating a mild form of the problem.

Any help would greatly ve appreciated.
