How can I mute an ongoing meeting and use my headset/laptop's microphone on another app simultaneously?

I have tried muting the app and meeting in the "Volume Mixer", however when I unmute my headset to speak on the other app the zoom meeting attendee can hear me, even if I can't hear them.

Recording: Cannot retrieve recording

Hi there, I recorded a meeting on Zoom and had it saved locally. The saved file does not appear on my computer (a Mac). Zoom says for its part that the recording was saved on another computer (see attached screenshot), which is not correct. Can this ... Show more

I recorded a meeting on Zoom and had it saved locally. The saved file does not appear on my computer (a Mac). Zoom says for its part that the recording was saved on another computer (see attached screenshot), which is not correct. Can this please be resolved? This is urgent. Thank you.

Kicked out of meeting

Hi I hosted a meeting this morning and was kicked out but was able to rejoin pretty quickly. A number of audience were kicked out several times some not able to rejoin. I thought might have been my works IT but all was working fine.....any ideas why?... Show more

I've been using this feature for years, but recently ran into this issue.

What did ZOOM change in March 2023? Audio issues!

Zoom made changes which don't appear to be documented. First, in Audio settings, when you click through to Advanced, the screen has changed and reduced select-able options. Second, we used the exact same step in February and then in March it did not ... Show more

Zoom made changes which don't appear to be documented. First, in Audio settings, when you click through to Advanced, the screen has changed and reduced select-able options. Second, we used the exact same step in February and then in March it did not work. We confirmed Audio would play through our control HOST laptop. Basically our setup is a control Host laptop, connected to a mixer board, so we can have ZOOM live and projected in a room, with live Mics. We use a second laptop to co-Host the meeting and moderate chat and mute remotes. We typically have 80 folks in the room, 20 remote, plus a remote speaker. What stopped working in March was our ability to pipe in the Zoom remote speaker audio. We were doing this via the USB port of the control Host. We have to move to using the microphone jack and the USB port. The micro phone jack gave us Audio to the room the USB port piped Audio out to the remote Zoom attendees. Clearly Zoom changed something in the filters and we can't figure out how to revert back to just using the USB ports. We tried 3 different laptops each on different patch releases and none worked where they all did before so we are sure the change is on the Zoom side. Thoughts or similar issues....?

1 meeting-id joins 2 different rooms for different participants

my co-worker has some recurring meetings that have repeated for months and schedules some new-meetings.On some percentage of these people have clicked identical links with the same meeting-id and password but have found them selves in 2 seperate room... Show more

my co-worker has some recurring meetings that have repeated for months and schedules some new-meetings.

On some percentage of these people have clicked identical links with the same meeting-id and password but have found them selves in 2 seperate rooms...
We have double and tripple-checked and the meeting-links are identical.

Note-taker took one room along with 1 participant and 2 other participants joined a completely different room at the same time using the same meeting ID...

 

Should this be possible?

"Please provide a correct phone number" when trying to add phone contacts.

The first time I used Zoom on my new Samsung S21 I tried to connect phone contacts and it asked for my phone number.  I entered the correct phone number and received a one time code which I failed to put in correctly.  Now everytime I try to redo it the zoom app tells my to please provide a correct phone number.  It has no other options.  I have Uninstalled the app and reinstalled and that didn't help.  Am I just forever screwed on adding phone contacts now?

Resolved! Owner / Admin and I can't disable the passcode

Hi! I have two users in a basic account, both controlled by me. One is the owner and the other is the admin. I have logged in as both and tried to disable the passcode requirement but it still says that this feature is locked by the account admin...b... Show more

Hi! I have two users in a basic account, both controlled by me. One is the owner and the other is the admin. I have logged in as both and tried to disable the passcode requirement but it still says that this feature is locked by the account admin...but there are no other users! I'm the owner how come I can't change this setting!

 

Phone support is not eligible for my account.

Have been using zoom for years now and seems like a crazy problem. I teach ukulele on zoom and my students can hear my voice but cannot hear my instrument. I thought it was my computer  and I bought a new Dell and this issue is still happening. tried every setting. does anyone have a solution. have a class tonigh and Im at a loss

Hello.

 

We have a standalone website - the application is built in React and we were using the Amazon Chime SDK, but we would like to swap out that video player instead of Zoom as our video player is outdated and expensive to update.

 

So we want a user to be able to log in, connect to their Zoom account and then set up and run webinars that run in our player with our chat. So from the user perspective, they are in our player, but the video stream is coming from Zoom. For the Host if they could also start the webinar from our application that would be great. 

 

Is that possible?
