Hello,

Was hoping to see if any one has a work around with a particular task.

I am trying to turn on a display AND change its input from a single button push.

I maybe mistaken but from my understanding I can't build in a delay in the command string to send separate commands with enough delay in between that the display can register them.

These commands would be coming into a single ITACH box.

any assistance would be great! thanks.

"Unable to establish secure connection to Zoom" message won't go away. I click "OK" to acknowledge the information. Box goes away and comes back in seconds. Repeats. Interferes with trying to troubleshoot the internet connection. Box should not interfere with troubleshooting the internet issue.  Zoom needs to fix this so the box is not always in the way.

Hi guys,

I would like to share a tiny part of my screen to the audience.
I noticed that an option called "position on screen" exists, which seems to work, but it appears to be unable to be locked on one window only. It follows me wherever I go, which I don't want.

=> I want to be able to share a position on screen, only for one window. Is it possible ?
Thanks !

I'm not sure this is the correct forum to ask this question, so please advise if there is a more appropriate forum in which to address this issue.  I am taking singing lessons via zoom, so the account is my teacher's, not mine.  There is an echo on my portion of the audio, both live and on the recording.  I hear no echo from my teacher.  I have checked all of my settings and they are as recommended, including echo cancellation, which is turned on.  Any suggestions regarding where to go from here?  Also, is it possible that it could be originating on my teacher's side?  Both my teacher and I have no idea where to go from here.  Thank you for any guidance you can provide!

Hello!

Our organization has previously used three scheduled meetings with licensed accounts and waiting rooms for each scheduled meeting, so that a representative of our organization could host a meeting with dozens of outside participants that would call our organization, get the invite link, be admitted into a waiting room, admitted into a 1-to-1 meeting with our representative, then dismissed.

However, to improve efficiency, we'd like to have a "reception room" so that all outside participants scheduled for the day would be admitted into one waiting room and a host that will not be a host for these 1-to-1 meetings can move participants to the waiting room of those three 1-to-1 meetings.

One idea would be to have breakout rooms where the hosts of those 1-to-1's would come back to the waiting room and the "reception host" could then assign a breakout room for that 1-to-1 rep and the next outside participant, but there may be an issue with outside participants noticing that these 1-to-1 reps enter the waiting room and disappear, which can cause frustration if they feel they've been the victim of "line cutting." Additionally, the person acting as the "reception host" would not be the most technically inclined, so we'd like to keep their responsibilities to a few clicks rather than repeatedly adjusting settings.

I'd love to hear any suggestions for how to create this environment in Zoom! Thank you!

I often shift from headset to speaker depending on the situation for a particular zoom session.  I would love a shortcut to just set microphone and speaker settings and be able to just click a single button to switch between audio setups.  Today, if you are in a conference you have to click the arrow next to mute/unmute and individually select the microphone and speaker.  If you haven't started a conference, you have to go into the audio settings, so even more clicks.  A single button/shortcut would be so much simpler to allow us to quickly switch between settings.  Has anyone found a solution for this?

I had a strange introductory call with a new potential supplier.

I doubted that they were the person who actually had been emailing me, so I downloaded the usage report to check the IP address.

There was no information in the row for the participant, and in the Matched Rules and Rule column, it states:

Blackbox ABUSE MONITORING

What does that mean?

Thanks

How far in advance of a meeting should you send the link? What is considered a best practice?
