Trying to connect my Zoom App with my M365 (azure) account for calendar and contacts - after selecting access needed, I can apply to admin for approval, and receive an email that approval was granted, but still don't see any calendar or contact in the Zoom app. restarting app/computer has no effect on Zoom app. Anyone else hit this wall?

Is there a setting or plugin somewhere that would make it so every meeting in my personal meeting room (or just every meeting) automatically starts with the chat open? When I am on Zoom with consumers (rather than professionals), they often have a difficult time locating the chat, especially if they are already sharing their screen. I would prefer if the meeting just started with the chat window already open.

Hi. I've been using zoom with no problem since the beginning of the pandemic and then last used it in April with no problem. (For the last year or so though every time when I first try to join a meeting it said "instalI updates". I click on that and EVERY time it says "update failed" but I could then click on "launch meeting" again, and I had no problem. )However, trying to join a zoom meeting a couple of weeks ago, I opened Zoom and then when I click on "launch meeting" nothing happens. I've tried this over and over again to no avail. I then completely uninstalled Zoom and reinstalled it (thinking the latest version with the updates would load). When I download the installation and click on it to install, it goes along to the end but then says "Installation failed" and it just says it encountered an error that caused the installation to fail and to contact the software manufacturer. Then, because the Home Screen (where the "Launch meeting" appears) says "if having trouble with zoom client launch from browser". I AM able to launch it and join a meeting from the browser, and seem able to do most things BUT I am unable to use "gallery view". for the video. Before there were three choices, "minimize" me, "show speaker" or "gallery view". Now they are only two. However, for my purposes I need Gallery view. I can only think it's because I've launched it from the browser rather than Zoom Client. Any suggestions on how to get the zoom client installed (or have it actually launch when I click on "Launch meeting" or to get gallery view when launching from the browser. Thanks

I wonk in IST (India) time zone but rest of my team works in CST. All my meetings are scheduled in a way that there might be meetings after midnight. However, as the date changes, they don't show up in upcoming meetings for the day. Suddenly at midnight I get notifications about meetings. I need to know all the meetings scheduled in a CST day. So I set my time zone to CST in zoom profile but the app is not applying it at all.

I am seeing a weird behaviour whereby the chat window automatically opening as soon as certain people enter a meeting. No one has posted in chat, the mere act of someone joining is causing this. Not 100% certain, but I think it only happens when a Windows user joins the call and not when Linux or macOS users join. I am using Zoom 5.13.7 on Ubuntu.

Hey all, I recently downloaded the auto-generated captions (.VTT) file for a seminar meeting recording from my employer and fixed the captions in TextEdit to be more accurate, as many words were misspelled as expected. How can I re-upload this file/replace the original .VTT associated with the recording so that the corrected captions are displayed? I didn't seem to find an easy way to this, other than manually (and rather tediously) replace all the captions in the 'edit boxes' on the right hand side of the recording.
Thanks.
