Automatic Muting
I was told by someone in a meeting today that Zoom has a new algorithm that automatically mutes people after amount of time. I find this hard to believe. Anyone know anything about this?

I was told by someone in a meeting today that Zoom has a new algorithm that automatically mutes people after amount of time. I find this hard to believe. Anyone know anything about this?
For the last month Zoom has been faulty. I can't start scheduled meetings from the website by clicking on the "iniciar" button as I used to (now I have to do it from the App), my screen turns green, my screen freezes, I get bars across my face... Everyime such things happen, stopping the video and starting it again solves it for a while, but then it happens again. I have constant meetings and lessons and use zoom daily with groups, so all these faults are really affecting my work. On top of that, I've just received a notification that zoom is raising its prices, which seemes like a joke when what I was considering is actually asking for some kind of compensation for all the problems I'm having. I've been trying to raise a complaint, but all I could find was a chat answered by a bot. I'd appreaciate any help with reaching assistance. Thank you very much for your help

It's been a few months since I've had to schedule a recurring meeting. Previously, I was able to schedule a recurring meeting with no fixed time from my desktop, not the web portal. I learned today that has changed. I definitely prefer the desktop option. Does anyone know if the no fixed time option will be re-introduced there?

Why oh why has Zoom changed the procedure for setting up recurring meetings. It was so straight forward now it is not. I won't be renewing my subscription. Get a grip Zoom....if it's not broken don't fix it!
Hello! Hope, somebody will help me. When I share my screen, it constantly freezes! I don't know what's wrong cause I use the newest laptop alongside the fastest Internet connection. Moreover, there's no such a problem when I share my screen in other apps. Thank you in advance!

This occurs only when the application is 'quit' (i.e. not currently running, completely quit). Here is a 1 minute video of the issue, it is 100% reproducible:
If I open up zoom by itself, it goes through the normal opening steps and it remembers my login credentials. But if instead of clicking on the zoom app icon to open and instead I open Zoom via a meeting link, it will be 'logged out' and I then have to go through the login steps again.
https://www.loom.com/share/fbb561eaac87425a900f6dc3cd25f3d4
Steps:
1) open the zoom mac app
2) login with google credential
2.a) 'keep me signed in' option checked
3) verify that I stay logged in through quitting and reopening zoom
4) quit zoom
5) open a link to a meeting
5.a) this launches the zoom mac app
RESULT --> will open meeting without using the logged in user
EXPECTED --> should open meeting with logged in user

Hello, I just installed Translation Caption Add-On to my working account. I am trying to translate from German to English on once side and in the other from English to German... Unfortunately, I feel this Add-On is still not well developed due to being such a new setting, and it only works on one side. I feel that the translation is happening alone on each computer and not in the Zoom meeting for both persons... Has anyone have experience with this Add-On and can help me find the best settings for my Zoom-Meetings? Most appreciated, CG

We use the translated captions during a meeting which is great and we save a recording to the cloud. When I watch the converted recording on the cloud, the captions are there. But when I download the recording, the captions have disappeared. I do have the text list of all of the captions, but they are no longer actually on the recording. How can I get a copy of the recording with the translated captions still on the recording???

I have purchased the Zoom Translated Captions option for my Zoom Pro plan. I updated to the latest version of Zoom (5.15.3) thinking that maybe my older version (slightly) of Zoom was the root of the problem but...apparently that was not the case. I cannot get Captions to work 😞 I enabled everything via the web interface per the instructions found at the link below: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/6643133682957 When I open a new Zoom room, there is no little caret next to the "Captions" button at the bottom of the screen. When I click on the "Captions" button all is see is (see attached screenshot). What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
