Hello,

ZOOM Version: 5.15.0 (19644)...
since a few days the ZOOM meetings I host are frequently terminated. Today alone, 6/22/2023, this happened about 6-7 times, often at prominent points:
Right at the beginning of a session, then right at the end of it after about 45 minutes. Then during a silence in the middle of a session, then 2x in a break between two sessions and finally again at the end of a 90-minute session.
Previously (i.e. 2-3 weeks ago) I thought it might be due to the Telekom router in our Bonn, Germany,  mindfulness practice center, but it only ever happens during ZOOM sessions. We have 250 MB and the router is now replaced and brand new.

The participants stay inside the meeting while this is happening.
It really seems like something / someone is interrupting / terminating our sessions. It also takes a long time for me to get back in after that. I always had to restart the Mac and enter passwords and numeric codes at ZOOM, which is never the case as a subscriber. What can I do to make these glitches stop, as I am a course host?
Please send me a reply as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Yesche Udo Regel

When entering once I was shown this remark and question (see screenshot attached), although I am always using the same MacBook Pro.

extend breakout sessions

Is there an option to extend breakout sessions while they are running? For example, if I find that the minutes set are not enough, can I extend?

Zoom on a Tablet

I'm trying to conduct Zoom meetings using a tablet with external camera and an external mike.  The Zoom app doesn't show any ability to switch to aux equipment.  Is there a way to do this?

Upgrade installation

I am unable to join a meeting without upgrading, but I can't get the upgrade to install on my iMac. I keep getting an error message.

Chat with onscreen keyboard

I have a problem: I can only write with the onscreen keybord of windows 10. Since the last zoom update it always interrupts the word prediction and I have to write letter after letter. Can anyone fix this?

I have a MacBook Air that's a few years old. 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 16 GB memory. Works fine when Zoom isn't open.

When I'm in a Meeting, performance degrades significantly in my browser (Chrome), particularly when I open a Google Doc. The time it takes to render a web page or view a Google Doc doubles or triples. It's worst with big docs (50 - 75 pages); they often won't render no matter how long I wait.

I can see the CPU taking a big hit when I open a big doc. Apple claims this CPU/memory combo should be plenty to handle this set of applications. Not sure what to do?

I'm not sure what section this should be in.

I'm on Windows 7 and was forced by zoom to update to the newest version.

Now it takes over 3 min to start up and another 3 to join any meetings.
It used to be instant.
Because of this severe delay, I thought it was just getting hung up and just wasn't working so I've been doing the whole uninstall, reinstall, reboot, etc... thing the past few days trying to get it working until I now saw that it just takes forever to load.

I've noticed that it creates 9 instances of msedgeview2.exe in my processes now, which I never noticed before.

Either way, this is way too long in todays computing world for an app to open.  I'm looking at 6 min total to get into a meeting now when a few weeks ago before the forced update, it only took a few seconds.

Does anyone know of any fixes and/or how to turn off the auto-updates?  I don't like them being on for this specific reason.
This is really bad if now it's going to take over 6 min to join a meeting through the program, or now forcing me to buy a new computer because the app updates are crippling my functionality.

It would be nice if Zoom generated a code consisting from mixed characters, both numbers and digits for PMI . I had a user who had a purely numeric passcode starting with 0. While the user passcode got copied into a Google table, Google automatically converted the passcode into a number since it only consisted from numeric characters, and the left most 0 got truncated. As a result, some users were unable to join the conference since 0 character got removed. Can this be forethought? I get it's not Zoom's fault, but it would be nice if Zoom safeguarded such situations. Thank you in advance.
