TechConnect Zoom took me to my student zoom meeting for the first two weeks, but now, instead, it gives me error code 1001, user does not exist (same email listed under People in Canvas). Why did it stop recognizing me?  Also, maybe connected to this somehow: anytime I log out of my professor account and try to log back in under my student account, Canvas always takes me to my professor version of Canvas rather than to the class where I am a student.  For the first two weeks, they were separated.  Now, either email takes me only to my professor Canvas site. 

How can I fix this?

I have a client who uses Zoom to do phone calls and records them for re-listening to the audio. Unfortunately, lately, her audio cuts out intermittently. She is dialing in with a landline and has tried her cell also. Should she not use her Zoom account for recording phone calls? 

 

Any thoughts?

Hi Eveyone.

 

I am trying to help a friend who has recently become almost blind. Im believe the Alexa Echo Dot can be set up using a calander to join a Zoom meeting with a voice command of Alexa, "Join the zoom meeting" for example.

I have set up the Alexa app on my phone using a US business account.

I have linked that to my calander where I have created a meeting event to test

I have added the zoom skill from amazon to the app

When I give the voice command "Alexa join my zoom meeting" it responds "hhm I don't know that one" as if the zoom skill isn't recognised or being used. 

However I can see the zoom skill in the app and if I lauch it, it will send a link to my email which will open the meeting but i can't get the voice command to work. 

Can anyone please give me guidance on what i am missing?

Zoom help suggets this can work on a audio only basis so im hoping t get to the bottom pof it some how

Zoom registration does not show participants with no video

When I hold meetings, several participants connect only with the audio. During the meeting I can see their black screen with their name, but when I view the registration I can only view the participants who had the video on.

Participation metrics: can I see whether each individual joined on web app, web browser, mobile app…

I'd like to see whether each individual joined my zoom meeting on web app, web browser, mobile app, or mobile browser.

Microphone muted on Iphone

I cannot unmute my microphone on my Iphone. In settings>privacy> microphone....zoom does not appear. I cannot activate the microphone currently.

Hi, 

I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I am having with Zoom recordings. I do not have a paid for account, and I get sent recordings of meetings that I'm not able to view. Whenever I click on "View Detail" on a cloud recording, it says "Unable you have not enabled Cloud Recording." I've tried to look up youtube videos on this and nothing is helping or can seem to figure out why I'm having this problem. Other people who get sent the same recordings are able to listen to them and they don't have a paid for account either. If anyone has any idea why this is I'd appreciate any feedback you give me.
