I am running Zoom 5.17.11 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.4 and experiencing the following odd behavior:

1. During a Zoom meeting, when I click on a window other than Zoom and then click back on Zoom the volume automatically drops 50-75%

2. I cannot type anything into Chat

3. When I click on Mute or Stop Video the secondary menus appear and then disappear. I cannot, for example, change my speakers. Same with Security and Participants. They don't work. 

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

I have a Polycom Group Series 310 Video Conference device.  When  I am in a Zoom Meeting, the device  disconnects from the meeting at 15  minute intervals. 

I have reset the device to factory settings which did not work.   

The device is connected to a 4G Router.

We have sessions with an audience that ranges from 20-80. We do not have pre-registration for these sessions.  We want to be able to pre-assign facilitators to break out rooms. However, it would be too time-consuming to assign all attendees manually.  Is it possible to pre-assign facilitators to break out rooms but then use auto-assign for the rest of the attendees?

I just started using zoom after using google meets for a long time, and my camera lags ~5 seconds behind my audio. This did not happen when using google meets with the same camera. I've downgraded to earlier versions with no success, turned off all advanced video options and virtual backgrounds. My internet speed is as fast as is offered here with 250Mbps down, and 12 up. It's very difficult to participate in group discussions and lead meetings this way - are there any solutions to this issue? 

On the waiting page, before the start of a meeting, it displays 'Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon' with our logo. I changed this logo a long time ago, but the old logo still appears!

How can I make sure it's permanently changed of any guests?"

Have had an account for years but today was unable to join a meeting. Zoom desktop icon also stopped working. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling - Nothing. Tried using CleanZoom to uninstall but it freezes - says it's uninstalling but nothing happens. I still have an account but nothing I've downloaded allows me to link to the application. I'm Windows based, but using version 10. Any help is appreciated.

Will Zoom ever allow the meeting control bar to be undocked or popped out from the meeting window?

The reason I ask is that we use Zoom to present our monthly talks to our members in a hybrid format, and would prefer to use extend screen on the laptop rather than duplicate screen. We would be able to show the meeting window on the main room projected screen, and keep the controls on the laptop screen along with the popped out chat and participant windows.

In screen duplicated mode everyone in the room can see what we see on the laptop including chats and what participants arrive, which is distracting, and we can't always guarantee that we have a full view of the main screen from where we have to sit.

Having the meeting on the projected screen and the controls etc on the laptop screen in extended mode would be much more flexible and allow better meeting management.

I have submitted this via a suggestion some time ago, and await updates with anticipation but unless I've missed something it hasn't been adopted??

I am new to Zoom from admin / hosting perspective. I only have free plan and definitely not seeing all the functionality but I am wondering is it possible to divide Organization into multiple groups (depts) and let those groups manage their separate meetings & chats?

Idea:

Company I work for will delegate Zoom account creation to me. I need to create 3 separate depts each with 10 members. Each dept (Zoom group) will have group admin / host & their own Zoom meetings & Dept chat.

Only thing suitable for further structuring of members of org I saw were Zoom groups
