I am researching, planning and preparing online English lessons to deliver on Zoom to a group of young and adults blind students. I would like to know what capabilities Zoom might have for the blind participants. I would like to know if there are any apps or tools that I can consider and use. I would also like to know how I can use the existing Zoom tools creatively to help the blind participants. It is also great to see if Zoom has any plans to create any tools to facilitate and help the blind users. Any practical suggestions, tools, apps and ideas will be great and help me to facilitate my blind students learning process. I look forward to receiving your ideas. Many thanks.

"Cannot change the start date before today" Error when update event in Zoom For Lightning

I installed Zoom For Lightning package in Salesforce.

After create an event with start time = 2025/01/28 12:00 and Schedule a Zoom Meeting is checked, zoom meeting url is issued.

When i try to change start time to 2025/02/09, "Cannot change the start date before today" error appeared.

Today is 2025/01/28, so why did that error occur?

Registration is at 101+ but attendees limited to 100. What will happen to participant 101 +

We have Zoom Pro and can only have 100 per meeting. We have a seminar scheduled and we asked for people to register. We are now at 101. What if everyone ends up attending the meeting, will the last person to join the meeting be unable to attend? What will happen on their end? What are my options before the meeting to make sure we can accommodate everyone who ends up registering for the meeting?

When I try to open Zoom and I press the Launch Meeting button + Allow,  a small screen pops up with the Settings Icon - Installation Failed - An error occurred during installation.  

- I have tried going into Applications and deleting the current Zoom Icon but it won't allow me to.

- I went into Finder, and under applications, Zoom is not showing there.  

 

I thought I was downloaded something one night when I was tired (an upgrade?) but it has effected my zoom ever since.  I can open zoom via the website but not through the icon? Can someone please help?

I need to upgrade from free/Basic to Pro in order to do a one-on-one presentation that needs to last one hour and involves sharing of Excel and Word documents from my desktop. I will not be using Docs, whiteboard, team chat, scheduler, AI, etc., only Share and Recordings. Am familiar with the free Workplace Basic. What interface differences will I encounter with the Pro version using only those limited features? TIA

Resolved! I cant hear other apps while im on a zoom call

Hi, so today i had an online class. When i do homework play or work i usually listen to music but when i play music while on a call on zoom i cant hear it , it sounds distorted. This is my headphones Reddragon h901

"Portrait" filter disappeared

 I chose to have a "portrait" filter added to my camera view. It's like the blurred background but not as intense. I really liked it, but now I can't find it again! Did it move or go away?

Batch/Bulk Sign out users

Is it possible (without using API) to perform a batch sign-out of users?  This would be useful to force users to sign in to the client and absorb changes to their account (i.e. License, Group, Roles, etc).

Webcam not displaying video - Mac OS 14.1.1 Sonoma

I have an M1 MacStudio with an Apple Thunderbolt Display which has a built in webcam (known as FaceTimeHD Camera).

 

When running MacOS Monterey, the video feed from this camera worked. Since 'upgrading' to MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1 the Zoom preferences recognises the camera it is connected to, the computer displays the icon in the menu bar that the camera is in use, but no video preview appears in the Zoom preferences - the window is black.

 

I checked to see if this was just a bug with the preview in preferences, by starting a meeting. No video displayed, although I did get a message from the Zoom app that said 'Virtual Background is still loading. Start video anyway?' (The buttons offered the option of 'Don't use video' and 'Use video'. No video displayed after clicking 'Use video' and waiting several minutes. I then disabled virtual background in the preferences and tried again, but still had no video displayed in system preferences or in a meeting that I started.

 

Is this a known bug with Zoom version 5.16.10? If not, please can Zoom investigate and can other users let me know in the replies if this affects them too.
