Zoom won't open

When I try to open Zoom and I press the Launch Meeting button + Allow,  a small screen pops up with the Settings Icon - Installation Failed - An error occurred during installation.  

- I have tried going into Applications and deleting the current Zoom Icon but it won't allow me to.

- I went into Finder, and under applications, Zoom is not showing there.  

 

I thought I was downloaded something one night when I was tired (an upgrade?) but it has effected my zoom ever since.  I can open zoom via the website but not through the icon? Can someone please help?

I'm sorry I cannot help you but I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one. I have a 7pm Monday Zoom once a month and when I got to Settings and Video to check the way I look before the zoom, there is no picture and the lite on my zoom cam is red. It also wants me to upgrade to Meetings Pro or some other thing. I missed my Zoom.
