I've been trying to help someone with an Android wanting to join our webinar as a panelist with a unique link

He gets a screen with a Launch button half hidden and can only join via a browser.

This works , but his volume is low and of course not as many features.

Anyone come across this before?

 

He uses zoom often on his android and has never had a problem.

When we tried a regular meeting link it worked fine. Webinar unique link ... can only join via browser.

 

Tried restarting phone - same results

 

I didn't gather more info as I didn't want to take up too much of his time - and we have a work around - joining via the browser with headphones seems to work sufficiently.
I'm just left puzzled

Adding capacity to an existing event already started

We have an Events 500 subscription that we pay for monthly. (In addition to Workplace Pro) Our event started two days ago and has two more days to go. At the moment, we have NOT had 500 unique visitors to our sessions, but we are at 502 in the lobby ... Show more

We have an Events 500 subscription that we pay for monthly. (In addition to Workplace Pro) 
Our event started two days ago and has two more days to go. At the moment, we have NOT had 500 unique visitors to our sessions, but we are at 502 in the lobby (a whole different issue that I have a problem with). So, two people have gotten "The Event is at Capacity" emails and were not let in.
I want to add capacity, maybe 100 seats but despite several calls to sales and support no one can tell me that purchasing pay per attendee will ADD to my existing already started event or not. 
Has anyone else run into the issue and how did you solve it?

Alternate Host feature does not work

We hosted a webinar today. User A was the main host, and User B was assigned within the webinar set up interface as the alternate host. User B received the email from zoom with the note about being an alternate host. When User B tries to click on the... Show more

We hosted a webinar today. User A was the main host, and User B was assigned within the webinar set up interface as the alternate host. User B received the email from zoom with the note about being an alternate host. 

 

When User B tries to click on the Start Webinar button, it says you must sign in as the host to start the webinar. That clearly defeats the purpose of an alternate host being able to start things. And would require you to log in with User A's credentials, which is what we ended up doing. 

 

User B also tried to just simply join the webinar using the reminder email. That didn't work either. 

 

Any experience here on how to solve these challenges? Thanks.

Resolved! Waiting Room Stats

Does anyone know if there are any reporting stats available for the webinar waiting room? For instance, if we wanted to see how many people viewed the waiting room video and for how long, is there a way to access that information?

Resolved! How do I edit the "organized by" field in a Zoom Event?

I searched in the Community. I do not see a "hosted by" in my even configure page. I am setting up a webinar and it is showing my personal name for the event organizer. I need it to show the Company name.

Hi, Is it possible to change the speed of comments in a zoom chat with 800 people? We hold a monthly webinar and it is primarily to provide information and to answer questions. Our events usually have 500-800 viewers and the chat moves very quickly. Is there a way to slow the movement of the chat so we can easily see questions?

My recording doesn't show me as the speaker talking!!

I just did a meeting and recorded it, the recording NEVER showed me talking. The people DID see me while I talked. The only thing "off" I notice is that MY personal setting was to gallery view not speaker.

in my Event configuration I have selected the option to record the event directly when the event is started. It should be stored on my local PC.

 

But, when the event is really startet, the recording doesn't start as expected. Starting it manually was working. But I expected it to be started automatically.

 

Is there any setting I have missed?
