Today, I'm thrilled to share a story that truly highlights the power of collaboration and perseverance in the world of customer support.

 

It all started when a customer, reached out for assistance with setting up her Zoom Events. She had a weekly Zoom Events lined up, complete with a third-party survey to gather valuable feedback from her attendees. However, there was a hiccup – the survey wasn't appearing as expected. 😟

 

With the collaborative efforts of my teammate and me, we embarked on a series of tests to uncover the root cause of the issue. Along the way, we encountered several obstacles, but our perseverance paid off when we finally identified the problem. Without hesitation, we made the necessary adjustments, and to the customer’s delight and relief, her survey sprang back to life! However, our journey didn't conclude there. I took a moment to empower her further by sharing insider tips on locating analytics within the Zoom Events portal. It's all about equipping our users with the knowledge they need to navigate Zoom's features like seasoned professionals. 📊💡

 

So here's to the power of connection and collaboration. Together, we can overcome any challenge that comes our way! 🚀🌈

We have a Z4E account and have recently heard that students are creating their own Zoom meetings and inviting other students to join.   We supply all students with Chromebooks and they need to use Zoom to connect with their teachers. 

 

We've been looking for a solution that allow students to connect with their teachers but prevent student to student meetings from occurring .   

 

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Bonjour à tous les Zoomies !

Je me nomme Mathieu Plourde et je suis un administrateur Zoom pour l'Université Laval à Québec, Canada. Mes responsabilités incluent le soutien aux utilisateurs, la formation du personnel enseignant avec Zoom et l'utilisation efficace de Zoom dans un contexte d'enseignement et d'apprentissage.

 

Nous avons tous déjà lu des traductions douteuses lorsque nous utilisons Zoom.  Ou des termes qui changent d'une semaine à l'autre en attendant que les traducteurs arrivent à s'entendre. Ou des grandes phrases complètement en anglais dans les cas où ils ne se sont pas encore rendu là. Ou des boutons trop petits lorsque le texte en français est trop long.

Mais, en gros, j'espérais que les utilisateurs francophones aient un endroit pour discuter et parfois même mettre un peu de pression pour régler des enjeux liés à la traduction française ou aux enjeux d'internationalisation en général (j'en ai un avec les fichiers .csv et Microsoft Excel, entre autres).

Aussi, si votre anglais n'est pas très évolué, je peux vous aider à trouver les bons mots dans la langue de Shakespeare pour communiquer avec le personnel chez Zoom. J'ai demeuré au États-Unis durant plus d'une décennie.
