Hi Everyone, 

 

I am interested in joining a Zoom User Group and asked our Zoom account manager if they were aware of any existing user groups where other Zoom System Admins get together to talk through their experiences, challenges, successes, new integrations, etc.   

 

I did a search here on the community but didn't find anything on this topic.  If anyone is interested in a Zoom User Group I would be happy to help spin something up and facilitate the first couple of sessions.   

 

My current employer is in the Financial Technology space, we have ~1500 users of Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phones, we have 80+ Zoom Rooms deployed in multiple corporate offices and have users spread throughout the US.   I would love to connect with other system owners or admins who are utilizing the same services and talk through some of their best practices, hardware recommendations, challenges, wins, etc.

It looks as though there's been an update to Zoom. When I used to schedule a meeting in the Zoom desktop app, it would automatically add it to my iCal calendar, I'd grab the link, and send it to attendees. Now it doesn't do that - it tried to open Outlook instead which I don't use, and iCal doesn't look as though it's an option when I log into the web portal to change the settings. 

Can anyone suggest a workaround, because right now, I don't even know how to grab the link to send attendees, as the app only gives me the meeting ID.

- audio test (correct  - only - speakers and volume up to 100%)

- Clearing cache

- checking permissions

- adjusting computer audio settings (various...remind me)

 

This is only happening on my new laptop. When I sign into my old one it works fine. 

 

What the issue it: 

When I test speakers, you basically can't hear anything. When I put my head really close to the computer, I can hear the very very faint ring tone. Computer audio is on. Sometimes it makes a brief sound or crack before going quiet. The microphone test works perfectly. 

 

Any ideas?

The new computer is a ASUS Zenbook pro.

preview not working

I have "Always show video preview dialog when joining" checked,  I have "Stop my video when joining" unchecked.  However, the preview does not appear.  What do I do?  I really want the preview on.

I am using Mac OS 13.2 and recently my Zoom background is always blurred unless I have a photo for my virtual background.  I have tested with multiple cameras (built-in, iPhone, NexiGo) and all show this behavior in Zoom.  It does not occur in other apps such as FaceTime or Photo Booth.  It is not quite as blurred as the "Blur" option in the "Background & Effects" but clearly out of focus.

 

I notice this only on my MacBook Pro and not my iPhone.

This is fairly recent behavior and I cannot find any setting in either the desktop or web client that corrects it.

Has anyone seen this behavior or know how to correct it?

Upcoming meetings not showing up

Hi all, I've set up a series of meetings using Google Calendar, but they are not showing up on the browser. I need to add co-hosts for those meetings, and I can only do that if I'm using Zoom on my browser.Any suggestions on how I can fix that?TYShow more

Resolved! Scheduling a meeting invites are not being sent

Hi there,

 

I'm trying to retrieve a list of my recorded Zoom meetings using the APIs.  I have 2 accounts: a personal one and a work one.  It works for the personal account, but not the work one (for which I have Pro edition).

 

I submit a POST request to https://zoom.us/oauth/token and pass in:

HTTP Headers:

- Authorization = "Basic asdfasdfadf"

- Content-Type = "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"

HTTP Entity:

- grant_type = "account_credentials"

- account_id = "zxcvzxcvzxcv"

 

This returns the access_token which I can use in my next request which is:

GET https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/me/meetings

HTTP Headers:

- Authorization = "Bearer + access_token"

 

The above all works for my Personal Zoom account. 

 

However it fails with the following error, when I use it against my work account:

""Failed to execute the request, or the endpoint responded an error"

"Got response 400 - Bad Request from the endpoint"

 

Any ideas?

There is not currently a way to use the API to log users in and out of the call ques, if managers want to log their user in or out of a call que, I must now give them access to the administrative side of Zoom Phone, whereas if I had API access, I could make them a light weight application for them to sign their users in and out of. 

 

Please can we add to the API to be able to log users in and out of call ques so I can give the managers this access.
