The host set the zoom in focus mode and shared the screen. I can see the speaker's camera, but I cannot see the screen he is sharing, others can see. I can see the picture is pinned, I cannot unpinned. Please help me.

I have attended thousands Zoom meetings since 3/12/20.

However, in the past few months Zoom consistently turned my camera off.  If I turned the camera back on, Zoom will greyed out and frozen.

Eventually I figured out that when my D drive has free space <3.75 TB, I will have Zoom problems.  I have a 10 TB Dell XPS 8940 computer.  OS C is 2 TB SSD with 1.32 TB Free, D is my 8 TB Data Drive with 3.62 TB Free.  I consistently need to move data out of my computer to external HD to have free space over 3.75 TB.  So I re-installed my Zoom 2 weeks ago.

Then the real problems start.  I cannot see presenter's slides or maps while other attendees can!  I checked “View”, the Side-by-side with Speaker or Side-by-side with Gallery (sorry since I’m no longer able to see them, the names are from my memory) are no longer there.  I checked my settings many times.  Under “Share Screen” I have “Side-by-side mode” checked and “Focus mode” on.

I turned the “Focus mode” to off, I didn’t see any difference.

I went through many Chat Zoom Supports without any help.  The bot cannot understand my problems.  The bot picked up one word from my questions and provided not remotely relevant solutions.  It totally wasted a few hours of my time in several days.

My husband has a paid Zoom account.  He tried to help me without success. We set up several Zoom test meetings, he was at his computer and I was at my Dell.  Then, he logged in his Zoom account on my Dell and I logged in my Zoom at my HP computer, I still cannot see the slides.  At this stage when I clicked on my Zoom photos, I still could see the “Settings”

I did more researches and test the Zoom by changing different settings.  For 2 hours now, when I clicked on my Zoom photo, it only shows my name, email, “Plans and Billing” and “Sign Out”.  Thus I could not click the” Statistics” to send report.

The more I tried to solve the problems, the worse they got.

I appreciate if you know the solutions or someone from Zoom can remotely visit my computer to solve this problem.

Happy Thanksgiving!

(PS: I was/we were so focused on the Zoom problems that I didn’t realize that today is the Thanksgiving, thus we don’t have turkey for the family today).

I have seen multiple unresolved tickets on this manner dating back several months now, and am posting to see if Zoom Support or any community champions out there might have any updates on it.

This issue affects myself and many random users throughout my company.  Basically, in Team Chat settings, we have "Play sound when I receive a new message" checked, as well as other settings like Push Notifications being set to "All messages", and nothing else being muted.  Yet users don't get a sound when they receive a new chat, whether Zoom is the active window or not.

I've ensured in all cases that a working audio device (internal speakers or otherwise) was set as the default audio device, both in Zoom and in Windows sound settings.  And I've checked Windows Sound Mixer to ensure the Zoom app itself wasn't turned down.  Sometimes simply re-installing Zoom for an affected user does the trick, but mostly it does not.

We all use Dell Latitude laptops, with some MS Surfaces and Dell desktops, and the issue affects all such devices at random.  The notification sound works for most, but a fairly large number of people seem to have this issue.  We're currently on companywide version 5.12.3, but will be updating companywide soon.  Sometimes updates fix the issue for people, but usually the issue persists through updates.  That has been the case several quarters now.

Does anyone have any ideas here?

I am getting very confused with the various options on how incoming calls can be routed.

We have a Zoom desk phone that is assigned to a user. During office hours, incoming calls go to that user's mobile device, but does not ring the desk phone.

My goal is to have the user be able to answer calls on mobile if they are at an outside meeting, but also have the desk phone ring if there are other staff in the office.

However, I am getting very confused about whether I need to change call handling, set up a common area, create a call queue, etc.

I want to create Zoom meeting using API request and get the join_url. The meeting will have multiple breakout rooms and pre-assigned participants. The creation request was successful and meeting with pre-assigned breakout rooms was created and enabled:

{ "uuid": "phdGwf0wRx2E84I0YdfuVQ==", "id": 83503657198, .... "join_url": "https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83503657198?pwd=rjmfFnPOVfWa.1", .... "settings": { "breakout_room": { "enable": true, "rooms": [ { "name": "Room 1", "participants": [ "***********" ] }, { "name": "Room 2", "participants": [ "***********" ] } ] }, }, .... }

When I try to enter the meeting as email address, breakout rooms are still not opened, so the host needs to enter the meeting and open all pre-assigned rooms. I have 2 problems here:

1- Most important is that I need to open all breakout rooms automatically, even if I need to make a script or a bot that runs on the linux server that I will upload my system to, or if there is an endpoint that I can open all breakout rooms manually, that would be convenient.

2- When I try to enter as host from web, the In Meeting (advanced) - Breakout rooms options are not the same as the ones I find in the created meeting; but if I open using a Zoom workplace app, settings are successfully loaded. It says in the settings that it requires version 6.0.10 or later. I don't know if this means that this setting will only work on apps only and not web.

Webinar Chat enabled with reactions and hyperlinked text

It would be great if webinar chat was structured the same way as Meeting chat with the ability to react to a message and hyperlink text in the chat versus having to post the actual link.

I constantly use the safe driving screen in meetings.  Yesterday it was working fine, but today it stopped allowing me to unmute when I tap the Tap to Speak circle.  The app was not updated recently (since 2/28), the settings in the phone or Zoom were not changed.  I can unmute using the standard meeting screen.  I followed all the troubleshooting advice - changing app settings, phone permissions, force stopped the app, reinstalled the app.  Nothing seems to have helped.  All the settings are as suggested.  No error messages.

Phone - Samsung Galaxy S23

Zoom app version - 6.3.11.28195

Lately, we have been having a lot of users join our meetings with Otter.ai and record and transcribe the meeting.  Some of those meetings are confidential and wanted to see if there is a security setting that needs to be adjusted or what can be done to stop these users from joining the meeting with otter.ai.   We started enabling waiting rooms and allowing users in one at a time but when you have meetings with 100s of individuals, it's hard to police everyone.  Is anyone else dealing with this?
