whiteboard issues
After the latest updates (more or less two weeks ago), my students tell me that they can no longer see what I write on the whiteboard. Has anyone had the same problem? Any advice?

Hello, how do I share my whiteboard and a Word doc at the same time with my students ? I on a new iMac M1
Thanks 🙂
Font on zoom whiteboard in live meeting has a coloured outline. it makes the writing look blurry so i can't use a live whiteboard on Zoom now. i can't find any fix or solution to this. Any ideas?
Hi: I have a basic account, and created a 5-page whiteboard to share ideas with others in a meeting not hosted by me. I envisioned it working somewhat like a PowerPoint deck. All participants were able to see the first page, but not any others. I have enabled sharing on the whiteboard for all participants, but frankly, I find the sharing options scattered around various bits of Zoom to be confusing.

Hi, What would be needed is to allocate a separate whiteboard to each participant and then join these individual whiteboards into one to be seen by all after participants have finished writing. These "breakout whiteboards" could be much simpler than the current whiteboard. For our purpose, the graphical functions of the whiteboard are only confusing and distracting. "Breakout whiteboards" could be similar to an etherpad. They should support simple text production, possibly some basic formatting, but not more. Unlike in breakout sessions, participants should continue to be united on audio but be able to use the full screen available to them for writing on their individual whilteboard. For the teacher, it should be possible to prepare these individual whiteboards with a task, using a master whiteboard which is then multiplied and allocated to the participants.
I have been teaching online language courses since the beginning von the COVID-19 pandemic, and we've stayed online since it saves commuting time and allows the participation of mothers with young children.
One thing lacking in online courses, however, is writing together or writing by participants in the view of other participants. Therefore I welcomed the new whiteboard features, but it failed the test. I prepared a storyboard with a separate space for each participant. The idea was that all participants would take notes in their own spaces while listening to an audio.
However, only one participant managed to navigate to her space and start writing (see attachment). The others deleted the frame prepared for them, could not precisely locate their space or failed to do anything. The reason does not seem to be a technical problem but rather a lack of dexterity of particpants in navigating their mouse precisely on a small screen. Most participants only have tablets, some are even participating with smartphones.

Am I am able to have participants use the flow chart template in a breakout group. I see how participants can use a basic whiteboard by screen sharing in the breakout room but they do not have access to the whiteboard templates e.g. the flow chart template? Is there a way to set this up? Thanks!

I downloaded the whiteboard to use in my meetings and when I wanted to share the desktop screen, the whiteboard showed up and not the option to share deskstop screen. I have gone into my settings for my member profile and the video settings and it doesn't seem to be something that is in that settings area

We tutor via Zoom using an old fashion white board and dry erase markers. I'd like to move to another technology. Can I use an interactive board such as the SB680 Smart Board as an input device to screen share during a Zoom meeting? I'm aware of the White Board option in Zoom. Not sure if a Smart Board qualifies. Anyone done this?

I'm trying to figure out how to launch two whiteboards that I've created for a workshop in the breakout groups. Also, how do I access the whiteboards when we close the breakout groups?
Is anyone else having trouble with the whiteboard? As a host, I can initiate it but I get an error saying it's not working. However, 2 of the 4 participants in the Zoom can see the whiteboard and edit it. Is anyone else having difficulty with this feature?
