I've been encountering a specific issue with Zoom whiteboard during my recorded tutoring sessions, and I'm hoping to find some guidance or a solution here. During the live session, everything seems to work fine, but when watching the recording, the annotations made by the tutor aren't visible until they move to a new text box. At that point, all the previous annotations suddenly become visible

WHITEBOARD GETS ERASED EVERY TIME I CLOSE IT

Would be soooo grateful if someone could help.

 

SO:

I write on the whiteboard,

then I close it and go back to the main room.

When I re-open the whiteboard again during the same meeting, whatever i had written is not there anymore, it gets deleted and i have to restart with a fresh whiteboard. 

 

Anyone can help keeping the writing on the board ? THANKS! this is driving me mad!

Student can't see whiteboard

The past couple of times I've been tutoring a student and went to share my whiteboard, they couldn't see it. At the top of the screen it says something like "0 people following you". How do I get my student to "follow" my whiteboard? There's only two... Show more

The past couple of times I've been tutoring a student and went to share my whiteboard, they couldn't see it.  At the top of the screen it says something like "0 people following you".  How do I get my student to "follow" my whiteboard?  There's only two of us on the meeting...both people seeing the whiteboard used to be automatic.

Ipad keyboard does nota works chen writing on the board.

I am trying to use the whiteboard function for an activity that a group would complete outside a meeting. Most participants are not in my organization. Basically, i want to use this like I would use a google jamboard (but with the added cool features that I see on zoom whiteboard).

 

When I try to share, it says I can't share with external users, and when external users try to log in, they need to ask to be invited to the jamboard. I would like a link that I can send that allows anyone wiht the link to access and edit the whiteboard outside of a meeting (again, like Jamboard does). 

 

Is this functionality available? I can't figure out why it wouldn't be but I have spend 45 minutes trying to figure out how to do it. THanks!

Resolved! Mouse/Tablet pencil stop working

When I am using the tablet-pencil or the mouse they stop working and the only way for them to work again is closing the meeting and opening a new one. This is very disruptive while I am teaching. I have a teaching exercise that I would like to do with my class. I want to break them into two separate breakout rooms, give them a prompt, and ask them each to brainstorm ideas on a whiteboard. After they finish brainstorming, I would like to bring the entire group back together and display all of their ideas on a single common whiteboard. 

 

My problem is that I am not finding a way to copy the contents of their breakout room whiteboards to a common full-group whiteboard. I have tried to copy and paste the contents, but this does not work (it seems that in order to open a second whiteboard, the first one must close and then I lose access to that content, even if I have copied it to my clipboard. 

 

(Zoom Workplace running on my desktop PC)

 

I'm feeling stuck and would be most appreciative of any ideas to make this exercise work. Thanks.

Hello - I've created a zoom whiteboard containing 12 different pages for a shared project for work. Whiteboard is supposedly auto-saving my work but after closing out of Zoom and returning after a few hours, my updated work is gone. I've tried saving versions of my work, and that doesn't seem to save either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
