Hello,

Is there a way (or suggestion) of moving participants from Waiting Room to a Breakout Room and bypassing the main session? I need the participants to remain anonymous amongst each other, but I need to be able to identify them (and troubleshoot camera/mic if necessary). Many often just log on as 'iphone' or 'Joe's iPad', but I need to be able to communicate with them, so I can rename them if they can't rename themselves. Thanks for your ideas.

telephone call-out is not enabled

I have a user that is reporting our zoom room isn't allowing outgoing calls. Any Idea where I turn on this function?

Hi,

 

I am using Zoom Rooms NDI function to do live video production however we cannot seem to get the audio from a participant that dials in via audio (telephone). It works fine with participants who join the meeting from a device such as a laptop or computer but not when they dial-in from their phones. 

 

Please do not suggest that they use the Zoom app on their phone as this is not a viable solution for my workflow. They need to be able to call into the meeting and this audio be picked up via NDI. 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How do i create a zoom LINK

I need to EMAIL someone a link to my Zoom room.   I cannot FIND THAT LINK anywhere.  I've looked under my profile.  I am NOT wanting to create an exact date and time for the meeting, just share the link.  HELP.

3 months ago I used IPAD to zoom call relatives, now I can't connect to a meeting. When I enter meeting code message says I need to update my zoom version to 5.8.6 or higher. When I choose update from "App Store" it won't complete, another message says it's not compatible with my IPAD. Updating to current Zoom version 5.12 says compatibility IOS 8.0 or higher. I have IOS 9.3.6. Why am I getting message when updating older Zoom version to newer version??

Movement between Zoom breakout rooms stops working

This issue occurred yesterday and again today.  We were running workshops in breakout rooms and after about 9 hours the participants couldn't move between the breakout rooms anymore.  Not even the host could move anyone.  The host was also not able to close the breakout rooms.  We had to restart the Zoom meeting.  This is very disruptive.  Please assist with a solution as we have the same concept tomorrow and again next week.

I experience a strange thing. I need to participate every Sunday for several weeks to a class. During the class we are split several times in breakout rooms. 

 

What happens to me is, few seconds after I join the room, I get disconnected, not only from Zoom, but strangely my Internet turns off. It takes 2-4 minutes to reconnect. I am sure is from the breakout rooms, because we have high speed Internet, is working just fine the whole week, even if I have other meetings. 

I get disconnected the first 2 times exactly, but the 3rd time will work. It happened already twice  by the same scenario and I am frustrated as I lose the time and my partner time of practice in the breakroom. I think it may be some settings but no idea where to start.

ZoomRoom Exchange 2016 Calendar Integration error on iPad controller

I have followed the online guides to setup a dedicated email account and attach the conference rooms to that account (the dedicated account is a delegate for all the rooms).  I have added the calendar integration via the zoom portal using the dedicated account, I have added the three conference rooms I have calendars for and I have assigned those calendars to their respective Zoom rooms.

 

In the portal, the status shows green and sync'd but on the iPad controllers it shows the error "The calendar credentials are either expired or invalid".  On a couple of threads on the support site said to re-authenticate and resend (which I have).   The portal continues to show sync'd and a green status but the iPads are still showing the same error. 

 

Any words of wisdom on a solution or how to debug the problem?
