Hi Team, We have been experiencing an issue with a Zoom Room where the TV screen displays an alert message "Person X is connecting to audio and can't hear you yet" when someone tries to join the meeting from their laptop. Even after the person from their laptop connects to audio, the alert on the screen still appears. The only way to get rid of this message is to leave the meeting from the Zoom controller and then connect again.

Possible to request trial Zoom Room Licenses

Hi, we have loaned a ThinkSmart mini PC with a Zoom Room controller from Lenovo. However it does not come with a trial Zoom Room License. May I know if we could request for a trial Zoom Room License for 30 days?

Hi!

We are running a Yealink A20 Meeting bar with an iPad as controller. The controller is using the latest 5.17 Zoom App from the App Store, the bar ist using a very old 5.13.10.2631 app version. The bar is running the latest firmware from YL, identifying as an "Android 10" device in the Zoom device list. There is no update option in the Zoom device list nor in the bars webinterface.

As the app is very old, it stopped working and atm we got a quite expensive brick with a camera....

 

Anyone got any ideas on this?

Digital Signage with Latest 5.17 client issues

I had to downgrade to  5.16.10 (3425) due to URL's displaying as access denied.  The previews are fine on the Management Web Console.  5.16.10 allows the URL's to display again.

Anyone notice URL issues?

We would like to display the daily schedule for all of our Zoom Rooms in the office lobby. The idea is that visitors can see the information when they arrive at the building. Is there a way to display this on one 75" screen? We already have a network connected pc connected to the screen.

Resolved! Zoom Rooms U-Tap Glitch on update to 5.16

We have an AJA U-Tap USB device for video on a Mac Mini (Intel).

After updating to Zoom Rooms 5.16, the video input from the U-Tap is constantly glitchy when starting a meeting.
The U-Tap input looks fine in other applications.
After downgrading the Zoom Room to 5.15.7 the U-Tap works as expected.

BTW,I can't solve the problem by changing the video output line, because the small screen is an all-in-one machine and the big screen is a TV.
I want to be able to set the main screen as the big screen and the small screen as the second screen.

Zoom Room Alerts Missing for Newest Critical Update Required

Has anyone ran into this new issue where a Zoom Room is required a Critical Upgrade, and CANNOT start a meeting without the Upgrade? This also sets the Controller to display only Home and Setting options, and indicates that the room needs to be upgraded.

 

My issue is why are we not being alerted about this instance? Clearly the Zoom Room is unusable at this point, but no Alerts are generated because the Zoom Room is still logged in and online (I assume that's why).

Is anyone else experiencing this and have a work around or resolution?

What I did to resolve this: All of my devices are on ZDM and have an upgrade schedule for Saturday at 20:00 - 22:00. It appears 2 of my 13 Zoom Rooms became Disconnected from ZDM and running 5.13.x version, so possibly that's why they weren't upgraded? I am not sure why the disconnect from ZDM happened, but I had to manually install the newest Zoom Room Version on the machine itself. Once I manually installed the 5.17 version on the Windows Machine, the Zoom Room error went away and I was able to join meetings again.
