Nombre de sala en controlador de zoom

Buenos días,

¿Existe alguna forma de habilitar que el nombre de la sala aparezca también en los controladores de Zoom Rooms, tal como se muestra en las pantallas de proyección?

Saludos.

Hello ,

I am having problems turning on and off my projector using my TAP controller.

When I built Zoom Conference rooms it was simpler to connect with my LG 86" Monitors with the network and code . But the projectors are just not working, and I do not have the level to do more code in dept to make it work I will explain it. I have designed a Zoom room classroom, and everything works great except the projectors . I had  help with the Json program for the TV monitors, but it is not working for the projectors, and this is my only problem . It was once a Crestron Room, but it had no Hybrid system .So to cut costs and make the room  better for a classroom Zoom room I changed it all except the amp and the Speakers . If someone could help me with some connecting diagrams, and any code that would help it would be very appreciated  . Also, I have been reading information and  they say you need to have the rs232 db. 9 connected to Extron and VGA  and do not use  HDMI . I do not think this is true or is there a way I can use rj45 network with a DB9 adapter or just network on its own . Any help will do . Thank you for your time .

Hello

We currently have one Zoom Room set up with Office 365 calendar integration, running on a Neat Bar. We’re using Pexip to enable interoperability with Microsoft Teams.

When we schedule a Teams meeting and invite the room, it appears correctly on the Zoom Room controller (running in Zoom mode). However, when we attempt to join the meeting, the system places us in the lobby until someone admits us.

Is there a way to configure it so that when we click Join, the room is connected directly to the call without needing to be admitted?

We’ve noticed the same behavior on native Zoom meetings as well — even with the waiting room feature turned off both on the Zoom Room and in the general Zoom portal settings.

Any guidance or suggestions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. It is required per California Code that all conference rooms with audio/video be equipped with an assistive listening system. I have a small, simple conference room with one screen, running a Zoom Rooms appliance (say, a Neat Bar or a Logitech Rally Bar).  I need this appliance to give me an aux audio output (e.g. 3.5mm jack) that contains the call audio that I can feed into the audio input of my assistive listening transmitter.

  1. So far I haven't found any all-in-one Zoom Appliance that has an aux audio out - do you know of any out there?
  2. If I were to use a dedicated computer (Logitech Roommate, Intel NUC, ...), would Zoom Rooms let me output call audio to two peripherals at the same time (1. USB audio peripheral for the room (a sound bar for instance), and 2. the front audio jack connected to assistive listening transmitter) ?
  3. Is my only choice to use an audio splitter after the selected audio output? This seems messy.

I hope this makes sense. Thanks so much!

Léo.

Our small church has been using Zoom Rooms for hybrid worship services for several years. It has been a wonderful way for home-bound and remote members to stay connected, and we appreciate the two-way interaction that Zoom offers compared to streaming alternatives.

Unfortunately, the experience has declined over time. My primary concern is audio quality:

  • We use multiple inexpensive USB microphones (including those built into webcams). In past versions of Zoom Rooms, audio was good and worked reliably. But recent changes to noise suppression and echo cancellation have made the sound consistently worse. It is now difficult to achieve good audio. (We do have a direct analog connection from the church sound system, which works well — but only when the speaker is at the pulpit mic.) Please consider fixing the USB audio issues, even if that means reverting to an earlier implementation.

And while I am complaining, other issues we’ve noticed:

  • Microphone selection requires too many steps. On the tablet UI, changing the mic now takes four taps (More → Settings → Microphone → choose mic). Could the microphone control be made a first-class button, similar to the camera button?
  • Mirrored video in the local view. A recent update forces local camera views to be mirrored, with no option to disable it. Previously, the non-mirrored view was better suited to our use. Please restore the ability to choose.

We continue to value Zoom Rooms and want to keep using it. But these changes have made it harder to deliver a high-quality hybrid service experience.

I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the “Allow all users to remotely check in/out through their Zoom account” setting.

Currently, this option is only available at the Workspaces level, but we believe it would be much more flexible if it could also be configured at the Floor level. This would allow administrators to tailor the check-in experience based on the needs of each floor — for example, enabling QR code-only check-in on one floor, and allowing both app and QR code check-in on another.

Right now, the setup feels a bit rigid, and adding this option to the Floor settings would greatly improve usability and adaptability across different office layouts and workflows.

We hope the development team can consider this enhancement in future updates.

In the last two weeks -- there's been reports from some of our clients where their Zoom Room controller is showing that the Room Controls cannot connect to the Zoom Room appliance PC. A "Retry" button shows but pressing it will not reconnect the device.

Multiple conference rooms are affected by this issue currently.

All affected rooms are running Android-based Zoom Room controllers and Windows PCs as the Zoom Room appliance. They are on the latest 6.5.5 version, and I noticed there was a note that said the following:

Resolved an issue that prevented third party room controls from working correctly. Android Controller

The simplest way that fixed all rooms' (the three of them in this case) Room Controls on the Zoom Room Controller was simply restarting the Zoom Room app on the Windows PC (exiting and re-launching the app).

We're monitoring the situation still - but is it likely the patch isn't fully applied, or is there an additional step we're missing? Does TCP port 9090 have any particular ties to the NRC feature?

I'll post more details as we're monitoring this still and it's a very new case.
