On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Cloud recording for booked meeting in room

Hi,

 

1- I cannot record my (via the calendar) booked meeting  with the room controller.

The room is licensed, even my user is licensed (we have a lot of basic users and they should be able to record)

 

Instant meetings (via controller) and booked meetings via scheduler can be recorded with controller.

2- The recording requires an email address (to send the link) and accepts any email. We need to limit it to our organization's emails.

Always optimize video when sharing from a Zoom room

We have a Zoom room setup where we have a 2nd computer used for presentations connected to Zoom PC via HDMI and a Magewell USB converter.  

 

We're looking to have anything shared from this room directly always set to optimize video.  We can't seem to find any setting to do this, has anyone found a way to make this happen?  I'm only looking to have this setting trigger on anything shared from the room itself. 

 

We have a presentation that we share out that has a slide with an embedded video.  Every few Zoom room updates the video gets jumpy if the optimize setting isn't turned on.  After a few version updates we'll find that it goes back to normal and we no longer need the setting on.  It would be great if this could stay consistent, but for now we're looking for a way to always have the video optimized without having to hit the very small settings icon and optimize slider.

Dashboard for Zoom Rooms cannot filter View in location

We are looking to have dashboard for our NOC team showing the status health for the Zoom Rooms, while we try to filter 

View in location dialog to sub location (building) the dashboard keep showing all devices assigned on root owner

Wanted to know if zoom document needs to be updated ?

or
Zoom api's still send location field and right now not getting location field is a bug in zoom api ?

Zoom Room for person, not a conference room

I am configuring a Poly X30 for our CEO. His calendar is not a room resource, the way the calendars for our conference rooms are. What is the best approach to allow him to use the X30 with his Zoom Account and/or calendar?

I am trying to upgrade the Zoom Rooms app on my Poly X series devices. Some of them upgraded to the latest Zoom Room. version 5.11.0 (1553), without issue. However, when I try upgrade some others, the Zoom portal says "Your app is up to date.  You are on latest version 5.10.6 (1375)".  All of the devices are running Poly OS 3.12.0-366027.

 

How to I get these devices to upgrade to Zoom Rooms 5.11.0?

Zoom Rooms Setting is Locked

Any idea why I am unable to change my Zoom Rooms Account Setting?
I want to enable to NDI and I am also the user and the owner.
