Hi,

I need help I am not able to get the zoom virtual background to work while I am using Zoom room for meetings/classes could someone advise me on what should I do? please thanks. 

  1. What is the operating system for the computer that the camera is connected to? Windows 11 Home

  2. If the computer is a laptop is the camera connected directly to the computer or is it connected to a docking station, USB hub or USB adapter? No not a Laptop

  3. If the computer is a desktop is the camera connected to a USB port on the front of the computer or a USB port on the back of the computer? DESKTOP-JN9AFG7 and connected to a USB port at the back of the computer 

  4. Have you received any error messages? I receive a note when I try switching the background pictures sometimes it says error trying to load the picture from the Zoom virtual apps right there under the selected picture which I clicked on. 

  5. Can you provide a picture or screenshot of the image that you are getting in Zoom? Kindly note as per your request trust you can view where I am speaking about as you can see how the virtual background looks in the shot.  

  6. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom's software? No, I haven't because I even tried to log in apart from the app and still it's showing up like that as per the screenshot

Question how do we add feature requests to Zoom Device Management?

 

I think it would be super helpful to have a way to disable Mac Address Randomization aka "Private Address" on iPads using ZDM network wifi profiles.

The issue is "Private Address" is on by default, which breaks config when they connect to the SSID.
Other MDMs have this feature it would be great to see it in ZDM as well.

Hello, I have a problem with a crestron Zoom Rooms kit, when I start a meeting from the "New meeting" option, when the person at the remote site enters the meeting the image of my camera is duplicated instead of showing his camera, when the person at the remote site stops his video his username is overlays on my mirrored camera image. Has anyone experienced this error?

Zoom Rooms dropping out when attendees join Meeting

Zoom Rooms v 5.11.0 running on Windows 11 on a 12th gen Intel comp is dropping out of Zoom Meetings as attendees are joining a session. Currently the sessions only have 30 or so attendees total. It will immediately re-join the Zoom Meeting after dropping and this all occurs over a period of about 15 seconds but we loose program audio and video from the Zoom Room into the meeting during that time. Is this a known bug? Could an attendees Zoom Meeting version or device type be causing this? Thanks very much for any info. @Rupert have you seen this?

Getting Refused to Connect Message in Salesforce Lightning

We have setup the Zoom App for Salesforce in our Sandbox and have resolved all of our issues except a difference between Classic and Lightning where the testers are seeing a 'refused to connect' error when trying to 'Start a Meeting' when in Lightning.  We do not have this issue when we try this in classic.   

 

My hope is that someone found a workaround for this or there's a configuration step we have missed.

We are exploring the option of moving some of our online resources onto Google, but it is *crucial* for us that we are able to have sufficient administrative control of the Google user accounts, that we can create 'calendar resources' for users and integrate them with Zoom Rooms.
I've been unable to get any help from Google themselves to enable us to make a decision - absolute silence on the matter: can someone please advise what level of Google (Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus) we would need in order to fulfil this requirement? Thank you.

Zoom room Native Room controls, Meeting Events when joining Teams meeting

When joining a Teams meeting from a Zoom room are these Native Room Control events still triggered?

  • Meeting Events
    • "meeting_started"
    • "meeting_stopped

Or is this only triggered by Zoom meetings?

How do you control the order of room control buttons? I'd like to put more used buttons at the top. It looks like it may be ordered by adapter ID, but should probably be ordered by adapter name.

 

The order in which the "<adapter.id>.main_method=<method>" is defined in styles would be most flexible.
