Resolved! Image when camera off
I see other folks have a background image even when their camera is off. When my camera is off, all that shows is my name. How do I get an image to show when my camera is off?

Zoom bleeds the background image with my green screen during a meeting. See the image I've provided. This looks to me like a Zoom software failure. What will solve this? New Logitech Brio webcam so I will not assign the problem to that.
I've read all the instructions and think I have all the settings correct to allow participants to join the meeting before me, but they can't. No one can join until I join the meeting. here are pertinent settings: Waiting Room: off Only authenticated meeting participants and webinar attendees can join meetings and webinars: off If waiting room is not enabled, phone dial-in only users will: be allowed to join the meeting block users in specific domains from joining meetings and webinars: off Only authenticated users can join meetings from web client: off approve or block entry for users from specific countries/regions: off Allow participants to join before host: on, participants can join 15 minutes before start time: checked

I am not sure where to get this question answered. Due to a number of Zoom bombers, when we begin a Zoom session we turn off the chat feature and we advise participants if they have a question to raise their hand. At this .1 of the co-host response back via chat to that individual and asked them how can we help? Since Chat is turned off, as a co-host will be see my message and will they be able to respond back to me while chat is off or do I have to enable chat for the host and co-host in order to communicate.

We have two new Lenovo T14s. We have been heavy soom users for 2 years. But with the new computers, our mic quality is bad (others on Zooms complain they cant hear us). However, the new computers work just fine with Teams, WebEx, Google Meets, so it does not seems to be a microphone problem. Our old computers still work fine, so it seems that it is not a network problem. Would could be wrong? Anyone else having this problem?

Hi, I'm using Zoom 5.17.5 (2543) on Linux kernel 6.5.0-17 (distro: Kubuntu 23.10). The problem occurs in both X11 and Wayland. After starting Zoom, if I share the screen and then subsequently view another shared screen, I can zoom in and out, but can't pan (move around the zoomed-in shared screen). There is no response when trying to do this. This problem has been present for years as far as I know. If I try panning a shared zoomed-in screen before sharing my own screen, everything works fine. After the problem occurs, I can't get this function back until I shut down Zoom and start it again. From then on, I have this function back until I share my own screen again and then the same problem reoccurs. Regards.
The problem doesn't occur in Windows.

Hi All, This is regarding a reasonable accommodation for the automatic closed captioning feature you provide. We are able to save the full transcript at the end of the meeting, but if we forget to click the save button we lose it all. Is there a way to automatically save the transcripts like we are able to do with chat? Right now I am able to auto-save each chat to a folder on my computer when I log off.

Hello, We are an online school and online classes are done via zoom meetings. All the meetings are automatically recorded and saved in the zoom cloud. We have had some issues with some kids misbehaving by direct messaging each other. In a meeting, a participant can DM to others. However, it looks like a supervisor can not see the chat log from a recorded video/data unless it is a general conversation. Is there a way we can check direct messages between participants? Thank you.
