Resolved! Using Zoom with Panoramic cameras
Our Zoom meetings involve a local group sitting around a table, and remote participants. In order to make the meeting more workable, I purchased a 360-degree panoramic camera for use in our meeting. (In case anybody asks, it's a j5create 360-degree All Around Webcam, model JVCU360. And no, this isn't an advertisement, just technical information in case it helps to solve my problem.) The camera works well with Zoom, right out of the box -- except that it has a blind spot. On one side of the camera, about 90 degrees of the 360-degree view is missing. I downloaded j5create's Webcam Companion app and used it to verify that the camera is generating a full 360-degree picture. So the camera isn't defective. But Zoom is only using 270 degrees of the 360-degree picture. I searched the Zoom Community and can't find anyone with a similar application, but I hope I simply overlooked something or used the wrong search terms. Is anyone else using a 360-degree camera, and have you had a similar problem? If so, how did you fix it? (Note 2: Zoom app and camera firmware are both updated to latest versions.)
(Note: if this discussion belongs in a different location, let me know and I'll move it.)
