Schedule a meeting

Hello community,

I would like to schedule a Zoom meeting as I have been doing for the past three years. When I click on the schedule icon, it opens to a small white page and blocks.

I have rebooted and updated the application.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

BDS

If you look on the left-hand corner, this was giving me a problem where I cannot hear anyone.

Best PC specifications for full day Zoom usage

I am preparing to buy a new All-in-one PC which I will use for my multiple day training classes.  What are the minimum specifications that I need to have in order to ensure the best Zoom?

Does anyone know how to blur or pixelate the foreground, or the whole image. My son uses zoom for school and has issues with people seeing him, he has been using it with the camera off, but teachers think he signs in and disappears, what we want to do is get him to use his camera, and be able to adjust the foreground or whole image blur enough that that it is apparent he is there, and is moving etc but that they can’t actually make out any detail. Ideally the adjustment should be adjustable. We have tried some chrome blur add-ins but they don’t seem to work with Zoom.

Can you share sound when using Zoom VDI?

I've done a couple of tests and so far, have had no luck.

First test was remoting into a computer using VMWare Horizon and Share Sound doesn't work.

Second test was a user physically at their workstation (but launching Zoom VDI) and Share Sound doesn't work.

Seems to me that if it's unsupported, it shouldn't have the Share Sound option.

Or is this just a bug?

Hi,

I just tried out the new CC settings in version 5.13 and now it is possible for one person to set the speaking language for everyone so automatic captions are shown in the correct language. The first person to do so has infinite power to mess up the captions for everyone, because even when the host sets the language after the first person activates the setting, this first person still has the ability to set another language for everyone in the meeting. We organize sessions with 3rd party attendees only, and many aren't used to Zoom and some will start exploring every button in sight without knowing what they are actually doing. So when the host hasn't thought of setting the language first (which will happen because they have a lot on their minds) the captioning can easily be spoiled for everyone.

Therefore I have the following feature requests:

- Host override. The host should be able to set the speaking language regardless of the fact is he/she is the first to set the language and then no-one should be able to change that.

- Set speaking language when scheduling a new meeting. Only host should be able to change that in-meeting.
