Every time I initiate or join a Zoom meeting, within 10 minutes I get a error message saying that zoom cannot find my speakers.  I am unable to hear anyone at the meeting, nor can they hear me.  My speaker work fine for every other app (YouTube, etc)  I am generally unable to reconnect and even if I do, within a few minutes, it occurs again.  This has been happening for months and "customer support" has been completely and utterly worthless.  I tried to delete the app and reinstall, to no avail.  

Anyone else out there with this issue?  Does anyone have a way to contact support by phone?

toolbar in Chromebook screen share

I just got a Chromebook.  Ended up in pwa.zoom.us.   When I want to Share Screen, I tried all three options:  Chrome Tab, Windo, Screen.  In all cases, I don't see the TOOLBAR - I hover the mouse all around but it doesn't appear.  Where is it??

I am running Zoom 5.14.2 (14578) on a Lenovo desktop with Windows 10 22H2. When I open Share Screen and look for the Microsoft app, Films & TV, it does not appear in the Share Screen options. My two work-arounds are either share the whole screen (not ideal) or use VLC Media player instead. I would prefer to use Films & TV. Any help?

Hello, I find the chat function quite annoying while presenting, especially when participants write irrelevant messages that pop up and distract the speaker and others.

Question: can the host turn on and off the chat function during a meeting to ensure it is on when needed and off when someone is speaking?

I have a meeting scheduled in a the next few weeks with Registration enabled. Meeting has many members registered. I was able to go to the Reports-->Usage Reports-->Meetings and generate a report last week. But today, if i enter a date range (any date range) it does not show up that meeting at all. I confirmed the meeting still exists in the meetings tab and there are 71 registrations existing for the meeting.

I am the secretary of a non-profit association and our chairman has a Zoom One Pro license to hold meetings.
He schedules the meeting, starts the meeting at the right time and enables participants to share their screens. After the meeting, he closes the meeting.

Our chairman will now be away for a while and during that time we need to hold a meeting. During this time, he cannot administer the meeting because he does not have access to the Internet.

I have a Zoom Basic account. Can our chairman give me administrative rights to hold the meeting?

He tried to delegate admin rights to me, but it didn't work.

New Registration Page Update - Is there a way to override to show the link on the page?

I use Zoom Meeting registration often and today noticed that when a person registers for a Meeting they no longer see the direct link on the page. I read on Zoom Support that they planned to do this "later this year" and I guess just rolled it out. I... Show more

I use Zoom Meeting registration often and today noticed that when a person registers for a Meeting they no longer see the direct link on the page. I read on Zoom Support that they planned to do this "later this year" and I guess just rolled it out. In the same section where they mentioned the plan to roll this out they also say that Admin will be able to override this change, but I don't see that option anywhere in our settings. Has anyone found a way to override this? It's problematic as we often used the display of the direct link to add link to executives calendar, they won't always add the ICS. 

 

In the meantime I know I can pull the unique links from the backend registration list.
