New verification system Zoom rolled out is awful. Instead of relying on two-factor which is plain and simple Zoom now sends a notification to one of my devices.

Yet it choses _at random_ which device and said device apparently does not even need to have the App installed and then sorting out which device has received the verification message is a nightmare.

I have in my office: three laptops, one iMac, three iPads, an iPod and my phone.  Some do not have Zoom installed yet the message has randomly popped up on those devices.  Or it pops up on a machine currently sleeping and does not wake the machine.  In the end I have to go poking about trying to find which device got the message and more often than not I simply give up and have an email with a one time code sent to my registered email which is the equivalent of two-factor only via email and not SMS.

Seriously people get your code together and setup proper two-factor.

I am using Zoom in the church meetings. We are meeting in-person in the sanctuary and I am using Zoom for those who participate from their homes.

I speak using a church microphone for those in the sanctuary  and an android  phone for those who use Zoom in their homes.  And my people using Zoom in their homes complain that they can't hear my voice clearly.

When I used my laptop computer or my android phone alone (without church microphone) we had no problem. I think two sounds from my voice and the church speakers go into my phone microphone and cause some problems. What should I do to fix this problem. Thank you so much.

Hello,

I am hoping that someone can help me. When I updated my zoom account last it changed my personal meeting id code. It now has a string of characters after my phone number, whereas before it was just my phone number.

Ex:  Before:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/00000000

Meeting ID: 000 000 0000
Where the 7 zeros would be my phone number.

     Now: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/0000000/htwhp2zewo3oett5

Meeting ID: 000 000 0000

Can anyone tell me how to change my id back to the way it was? I really liked the simplicity of that.

I noticed that when downloading a Past Meetings report, there are only records of meetings where at least 2 participants were involved. Does this mean that if a host waits for the invitee and the person doesn't show up the meeting duration isn't recorded? The aim is to prevent false positive meeting duration time in reporting.

More important, when a zoom meeting is recorded.. does the duration time of the event includes the time that the host is waiting alone on the meeting room or does the recording clock starts ticking when the invitee joins?

I received an e-mail two weeks ago saying, "We're reaching out to you as we've determined that your login and password for Zoom may have been compromised on another service. At Zoom, we take extra steps to help prevent compromised credentials from other platforms from being used for your Zoom account."

I changed my password to something unique from any other password that I use for any other login.   I received the same e-mail again just two days ago and my password was automatically reset.

Can it be determined what other service could be causing this issue?  Why is this happening?

local record issue

I recorded a meeting today (to local). It doesn't appear to have downloaded. It's not in the local file. Is there anyway to recapture this?
