We have a Zoom webinar account set up and integrated to HubSpot. This integration has worked in the past with few issues. The HubSpot workflow we have set up for our latest webinar is running, but returning the following error "Action failed because HubSpot is being rate limited by the connected app, but will retry soon."

We did just put up a new website and while I was testing the website this weekend, the number of form submissions that would trigger this workflow were less than 10 (no other API calls to Zoom).

HubSpot support told us to wait to see if it cleared on its own. After 24 hours I retested and got the same error. Any ideas?

Hello,

We've added tags to a few sessions in our multi-session zoom event. They appear on the registration page on each of the sessions. See the image below, you can see two tags, one of them says construction.

Unfortunately, they do not show up inside the lobby. See below.

I can filter by audience and product, but users need to click into the filter button. Is there something I can do to make them show up in the lobby by default?

In the ever-evolving world of virtual events, creating a seamless and engaging experience for attendees is key. One feature that’s helping event organizers strike the perfect balance between preparation and live interaction

is Simulive in Zoom Events. This tool has become a game-changer for many professionals, including myself, who aim to deliver polished presentations while staying accessible to their audience.

Recently, I had the opportunity to host a Zoom Event where I leveraged the Simulive feature. For the main session content, I pre-recorded my presentation, allowing me to deliver my message with precision and consistency. During the event itself, I stayed behind the scenes in the Backstage area, monitoring the session and responding to attendees’ questions in real time. This approach not only helped me engage with my audience more effectively but also reduced the pressure of speaking live.

What makes Simulive so unique is the ability to transition seamlessly from a pre-recorded session to live interaction. Once the pre-recorded content ended, I stepped into the spotlight for a live Q&A session. This combination of polished delivery and real-time interaction added a personal touch that attendees

truly appreciated. Simulive also provides flexibility for event hosts. While you must be present during the session's transition from pre-recorded to live, you’re not required to stay for the entire duration of the playback. This means you can multitask or handle other event logistics, knowing you’ll step in when it’s time to engage directly with attendees.

Whether you're managing a large-scale virtual conference or running a focused educational webinar, Simulive offers a perfect blend of structure and spontaneity. By preparing your content in advance and staying available for live interaction, you can create an event experience that’s both professional and highly engaging.

Have you tried Simulive yet? If not, I highly recommend exploring it for your next Zoom Event. It’s a tool that truly empowers you to deliver the best of both worlds.

Things to consider:

Limitations of Zoom Events simulive webinars

  • During the simulive phase, hosts and panelists cannot speak or appear on live video in front of webinar attendees and can only use the chat and Q&A features. However, once the simulive playback ends and the webinar transitions to live (if the option was enabled), all previously restricted features—such as video, audio, and full interaction—are enabled.
  • Only the speaker view is selected in recordings, even if you recorded with multiple views.
  • Hosts can’t add multiple cloud recordings to a single simulive webinar.
  • Since simulive webinars start automatically, they do not support practice sessions. If backstage is used, access to backstage will begin at the scheduled time.

I've been producing webinars on zoom for several years now, and in the earlier versions of Zoom, there used to be an option to automatically engage "Original Sound for Musicians" when a certain sound source was selected.

Right now if you change audio sources, it toggles off as well and stays off when you come back to the sound source which previously **was** in "Musician" mode.

Would it not make more sense for it to have to be turned off if you DON'T want it, (after all you've already selected to engage it the settings).

It worked fine before, could we have that again?

I'm not sure if there's been a change in the way zoom does it, but it used to be that I was able to set up "Speaker View" as the default view for attendees in a webinar.

Does anyone know how to set this up now? I've tried looking up and down the settings, and I can't seem to find a way to do it.

In case this feature is not built-in, I hope the folks from zoom are looking at this. it's especially helpful when there are many moving parts in the Webinar and sometimes changing the view is overlooked - which leads to the audience seeing what it's not supposed to...
