Hello my name is Edna I'm kinda new to this so please feel free to reach out and help me understand what I'm doing on this zoom cause I really don't know
We have a shared phone group for our front reception desk that has a few members of our administrative staff who rotate behind the desk when our dedicated reception is out of the office. Recently, they brought to our attention that they get bombarded with voicemails from the main office line when they have the shared phone group turned off. Is there a setting that I am overlooking that includes suppression of them getting voicemails on top of phone calls when they toggle off the shared group as they no longer need to be answering calls from that line?

For the past 4-6 weeks I have been experiencing intermittent unstable Internet connections with every Zoom meeting on paid and unpaid accounts. Over the course of an hour, video and audio freeze with an unstable connection notice 1-2 times, more over a 3-4 hour meeting. Once it completely booted me out of the meeting I was facilitating. This has caused tremendous problems during recording. I am in a home office running Mac OS 12.6 on an M1 Mac Mini and Zoom 5.15.7. My Internet speed is a gigabit on Ethernet and tests out at excellent speeds when Zoom freezes and I get the unstable connection notice. Still, I've taken to putting my email client and web browser offline when running Zoom, but it has not curtailed the problem. Internet use in the rest of the home on gigabit speeds is minimal to moderate, with no one else reporting Internet loss or degraded speeds/service, and the rest of my Internet services continue to work. I'm suspecting there may be some kind of problem with the Zoom client and hope Zoom will look into this.

There's something Zoom does that really bugs me and I don't know if there's a fix. When I record a video to my computer, there's a box that shows the progress of the video conversion. But that box stays on top and blocks everything I'm working on. Is there a way to get it to appear in the back or something? I'm using a 2022 iMac with the latest OS.

I am using an evo4 audio interface and I need to do online music lessons through zoom but whenever I am in a meeting or testing my audio, zoom automatically changes my input volumes on my evo4. The option "Automatically adjust microphone volume" is turned off and in fact grayed out and I can't even interact with it. If I go into more detail, my mic channel volume is maxed out on my evo4 because it sounds small and my guitar channel volume is set low to balance both my output volumes. However, zoom for some reason keeps changing my evo4 input volumes so that both channels are set to the same level, making my guitar sound way too loud compared to my mic. It keeps doing it automatically no matter what I try. It works fine on other apps like discord, but for some reason zoom decides to mess with my audio interface. Please help, this is very frustrating.

Hello All, I'm seeking support on Zoom technical issue which i faced yesterday during hosting a meeting where I was sharing my screen (sharing videos and audios), accepting participants from waiting room etc. The problem which I faced was that the zoom was narrating everything like when a person is joining the meeting or when person is leaving, when i was making someone co-host, or when I started sharing my screen. Please help me to figure it out because tomorrow again i have to do the same. Also, let me know if it is a global issue from the main account or was a problem with my zoom account or system(mac). Hello, fellow Zoomers! I'm trying to figure out how/if I can provide a prompt to the AI companion on how I would like the summary formatted? Currently, I'm taking my summary and then pasting it into a custom prompt I built to re-format the summary into the format my client requires. (an organization I contract with to serve their clients. They have a specific format they want the meetings outcomes reported in). It would be great if I could accomplish that within Zoom and lose the extra step. Thank you in advance!

can not connect to advanced screen sharing, powerpoint with backround has a explanation mark on it
For years I have been using Zoom to teach and share my slides, clicking on Share - Advanced - Powepoint as a backgroung. And since last week this option is not available on my PC, but it is available on my macbook. I have updated my zoom account and my Powerpoint and I am still unable to use this option that it was available before.
I like this option because then I have control of my position and size in front of the slide as I need to demonstrate different aspects.

Recently in the share screen settings, the "share powerpoint as virtual background" option is greyed out and has a yellow triangle on the corner of it. I have checked if the virtual background is enabled, (it is). have updated the app on my mac, and have tried to restart, uninstall and reinstall. but to no avail!. Can anyone offer a suggestion???
