I use the android app 5.14.6.13477, on a samsung galaxy s8.

 

However - I hear if the same behavior from a coworker. He is also using the android app, but I'm not sure if his version or device.

 

For us both, only recently, we've started to get frequently signed out of the app.

 

It used to stay signed in pretty much always. Now it seems to make you sign back in once or twice a day.

 

Any ideas? Has anyone else had this?

  1. Is there a way for individuals to create personal groups in their individual contacts lists (not in Teams Chat)? For instance, could I go into my contacts list and create a group for the Marketing Team, that only I would be able to see?
  2. Is there a way to time Zoom presence? Ie, how can we tell how long someone has been away/unavailable? If Zoom does that have this functionality, is there a third-party app that could be integrated with the Zoom client?

Signing to the zoom app from my laptop

I am having issues signing into my zoom app for the first time from my laptop. This is my error message... to use tablet make sure the room's computing device (MAC or PC) is signed into zoom rooms. Does anyone know what this means?

Grand Rising and Happy Sunday! I would be so appreciative for any effective guidance you're able to offer re: the above.
I've been podcasting for over 3 years, all of them with Buzzsprout. Starting about 2-3 months ago, when the person I'm interviewing starts to talk, I pick up at my end in my headphones, a most annoying and distracting static which comes in and out. My guests report that they don't hear it but rather at their end, whether I'm speaking or not, it's crystal clear.
The computer I was using, had a hard drive crash around the same time requiring me to buy a new one.
When the person I'm interviewing (all guest recordings are on ZOOM) turns off their video, the static stops.
Both my guests and I use a quality headphone and microphone (my headphones are ATH-M30x and my mic is an audio-technica atr2100-usb. What settings should I be using for my headphones and mic? I'm wondering if my settings are part of the problem.).
After my recordings are finished on ZOOM, I upload my track to Hindenburg and this is where things get nuts! When I listen to my recordings on Hindenburg, it's clear as a bell at my end and my guests (the entire recording)
Question: How do I get rid of the static I'm hearing when the guests speak?

Upgrade Issue

Hubby upgraded his account however, it still has a 40 minute limit on it (as in free version).  We have signed out and signed back in... no change.  The money has been taken from his account.  How do we get him onto the professional status?
