Here is an issue I'm experiencing. I have several people on my team. I LOVE THE POPUPS and ALERT SOUNDS when someone messages me. They are great. However I DO NOT get popups or alerts if the person who messages me is in context. I get it... When you are actively engaged with a chat you don't want it simultaneously popping up everything they are saying in a popup. However... I leave a message for someone then disengage with the Zoom App because they don't answer quickly. They message me 10 minutes later and that window isn't on my fore front of my display. I miss the message because no popup, no alert sound, nothing. I don't even notice it until 50 minutes later. The only remedy for this is to click out of that conversation. I do that, but sometimes, like this situation, I forget.

I pride myself on prompt answers to IMs. I might not get to a Email right away because I am coding or whatever... I can't constantly stop work like that for every email. I handle them in chunks of time. I work remote and I, however, want everyone to know I'm IMMEDIATELY available when a chat comes in. I can always send a 2 second chat back without much interruption to what I'm doing. I don't want them thinking I'm AFK or ignoring them. I would at least like the chat noise to happen for every incoming message regardless of if they are the active(in context) chat. That might be annoying for some, so make it a setting. Make the "always popup" a setting too please. I want a popup and alert noise for every message... even if I'm actively engaged with that person in chat.

Unless you can have the Zoom Application know if it's the active window on the operating system. I have up to 4 monitors up at the same time. Even if it's on the screen... I might not notice a single message come through without a popup and audible warning on my main screen.

Trouble Receiving Group Invite

My mentor told me he has a Zoom group. He said he sent me an invite to it. I cannot find this invite on my app or desktop connection.

 

What could be the problem?

Where should I go to find the invite?

Emoticon not matching my default skin tone

Really strange - my default skin tone in the Zoom IM is white; however, at some point the emoticons switched to a Hispanic skin tone. I try to right click on the emoticon itself, but it doesn't give me the ability to switch back to white. Any ideas? Show more

We are trying to back up chat history for users who are no longer with our company, but I'm not seeing certain options as listed in the documentation (https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061552)

 

I'm unable to find "Chat History" under our User Activity Reports as it specifies in the documentation. Is there a place Chat History can be enabled?

 

I have ensured Store Messages to Zoom's Cloud was previously enabled and that the retention for users under Storage has been set to 5 years so that data should be there somewhere.....

Allow teams to define their own emoji sets/ hide custom emojis to those who lack permissions.

I would be neat to restrict emojis to certain groups (so they aren't visible org wide), allows groups to make their own custom emoji set, and hide custom emojis to those who lack permissions.

We are in the process of introducing users to Zoom Team Chat.  Is there any administrative control or a way to do an initial set of the Team Chat notification settings?  My pilot users are saying they don't like Zoom chat because they miss messages.  They're missing messages because they don't have their notification settings right.  Is there a way to control or set those settings for the users?

Resolved! Messages out of order

My messages used to come in the newest message last. Now it mixes them up and I need it to go back to newest message last. Anyone know how to do that?
