Help Needed!

Is anyone else having an issue using Video Capture Card in Zoom?

I have used an HD Video Capture Card successfully in the past (just before Christmas, so in December!) but today when I tried to use the capture card in zoom, it did not show up as a video source in the drop down menu!

I need to figure out a solution for a meeting on Monday- any ideas? Screen sharing is still working fine, but it's the capture card that I need to use so that my iPad screen can show up in place of video of my face (I use the capture card to share iPad as a SMALL image, so not to do a FULL screen share). Any help appreciated!

We have a large community meeting that is inaccessible to people trying to join. We get the attached message when people are attempting to, the message is 'The Host has Another Meeting in Progress' and a circular bar that keeps going round and round. Is there some kind of setting on our meeting that is making it impossible for some people to join that we need to change? Does anyone know under what circumstances people get this message and what the host needs to do to let them enter--- preferably automatically also instead of having to let everyone in manually. Thank you for your help!

Resolved! Video only wanted on the interview and not of people dialing in to watch

I am running an interview in Nigeria and we are viewing it from afar.  When I push record I get all the people that are watching on the screen.  I only want the actual interview recorded.  How do I do that?

For several months, people have been using the same meeting link which is designated as recurring and for an unspecified time. Over the past few weeks, my video on a few of these calls has been blocked. This is not so for all calls even on the same day. Can anyone tell my why this is happening and how to fix it? I've even tried sending a new invitation link to these same people and it doesn't work. Thank you.

Hey all - I'm a long time Zoom host and consider myself competent for the standard end user solutions. 

 

Issue:  USB wireless Corsair Headphones fails sound test in Zoom client.

 

Troubleshooting:

  • All other apps recognize Corsair headphones and provide output without issue.
  • Speakers pass output test in zoom client.
  • Same headphones pass sound test in Zoom app on alternate devices.
  • Headphones provide audio output through Chrome browser - zoom meeting.
  • Checked for PC updates
  • Completed uninstall of all zoom download/install files using CleanZoom.zip provided by Zoom.
  • Rebooted PC

My laptop overheats and shuts down whenever I use Zoom. It never overheats at any other time. How can I prevent this overheating? I already have a cooling pad.
