Hello everyone, at my company we have been using Zoom for some time. Today my boss came to me and said he heard that Zoom now supports legally compliant voting/elections.
I couldn't find anything on the internet about this. Did Zoom get such a feature, or are there any apps for this purpose?

We hold Body Corporate meetings over zoom and also elicit votes via the poll facility and are experiencing two frustrations. 1. Zoom displayed user names reflected on the participants list are sometimes very strange. These can be updated to reflect who is participating on entry to the meeting, both by the user or the host, but it is time consuming and disruptive. Can the Zoom name not be automatically populated from the Registration name if pre-registration is switched on and ideally also permit the answer to a custom question to be appended to the displayed user name (eg: Peter Unit 126)? 2. When doing polls the poll report uses the displayed user names to show who has voted. As above, displayed user names are sometimes very strange. Can the poll reports not also make use of the Registration user name instead, where pre-registration is switched on. Further, can the answers to any custom questions asked during the pre-registration not also be included in the poll report? You can use Vlookup in Excel to merge the poll report and the registration report using the email address as the key, but once again this should be unnecessary.

Hello, I've been having a problem where I deleted zoom, but when I go to my program downloads, it shows up as taking up 3 gb. Upon trying to delete this, i am met wit the error: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I have already tried the "CleanZoom" application which crashed imminently every time i started it up even after deleting and reinstalling it multiple times. I want nothing to do with zoom anymore and just want it to stop leeching storage from my device. Tired and frustrated. Please help!

I've been trying trying to set up a Zoom meeting with a freind in Romania. Neither of us is able to join the other person's meeting, all we receive is the notice "Invalid ID". We have checked our ID's over and over, and even generated random ones. We continue to get the same error. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Why does the user preview box go away when I share my screen with that person? Is it because I’m using the “free”version?

Until last week zoom worked perfectly well with OBS virtualcam. Today it didnt detect the input feed from OBS virtualcam any longer. Skype still works with OBS virtualcam so the issue must be on zooms end. I found some threads about 1,5 years old about this kind of problem but the last word in these threads was that newer versions of zoom had solved the issue. Has there been a recent update that might be causing this issue?
