Hello, I am an online teacher, and since the beginning of the school year, some students are seeing a black screen when I share my screen. I am using Zoom 5.16.6 on Windows 11 with a Lenovo laptop (not sure what indentifying Lenovo info to include). I used the Zoom standard troubleshooting, where it says to look at program settings under Manage 3D settings and to click on the cpthost.exe file, but it isn't there. My kids can't see what I'm teaching about and are being impacted by this. Please help.

I received a notification that provided the link to access the Recording of a previous Zoom Meeting. After clicking on the link, a screen pops up with what appears to be a video. I press play and the timer at the bottom of the video, reflects that the video is playing. However,  I am unable to hear or see the video. There is a picture of a camera with a line across it that is displayed where the video should be seen. I assume, this is to indicate that visual of the video is not available. However, it appears that the audio is not available either. Therefore, the recording that was linked is useless.

I am part of a group that often uses share screen to play  video recordings with sound during our meetings.  Normally, we select Share Screen, select the window that contains the video, select Share Sound and select Share. Participants then mute their microphones and watch the video and hear the computer audio via zoom.  This past week Share Sound seems to have suddenly stopped working.  Participants can see the video but cannot hear sound, unless the person sharing the video leaves their microphone live with volume turned all the way up.

Does anyone know what might be going on?  The problem occurs regardless of which participant is attempting to share the recording so it doesn't seem to be caused by the computer or individual operator.

Would audio settings have anything to do with this problems?  Earlier, in order to hear a live performance, we were instructed to change our audio to original sound (which honestly didn't seem to make much difference to the quality of the live performance).  It has been since this that we began to experience this problem with Share Sound; although the problem occurred again today and the original sound was off.

Any troubleshooting suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

No background blur option!
Zoom Desktop Client version 5.16.5 (24269).
Operating system Windows 10.
Processor AMD A6-3650 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.60 GHz, 64-bit operating system.
If I access Zoom through a browser, there is a background blur function, but the video quality and speed are very poor, so it is impossible to hold a conference through a browser.

Hello,

I am having trouble converting a meeting recording that is locally stored. When I click "double_click_to_convert_01.zoom", the conversion starts and gets as far as 90% finished, but then it crashes. I've looked through other posts here for help, but most of them are about failure to start the conversion process, whereas I can get it started, but it won't finish. I have restarted my computer, closed and re-opened Zoom ...

Thank you for any suggestions,

Susan

I run an event using Zoom for 90 people. Each participant gets 1 minute to present a vision of where they want to be in the next year.

The exercise assigns each person a number. They are either a 1 a 2 or 3.   There are 30 rooms each with 3 people (a 1, 2 and 3).  The 1s state their vision to the 2s and 3s.   After one minute all the 1s are moved to another room where they state their vision again to the 2s and 3s.   After one minute all the 1s are moved one final time to another room to again state their vision.  Then it is the turn of the twos to explain their vision and go through the room rotation. And finally the threes get to do the same thing. You can imagine the challenge in moving all these people around. It is done by hand one person at a time right now.

My question is; can Zoom be programmed to automatically move people on mass multiple times.   In my case each person is moved 3 times.

Regards,
Clay
