Different participant limits for subscribed packages... which one applies??

Hi all,

We have been using meetings and webinars successfully for events in excess of 200 attendees (our webinar package has 1000 seats)

This week we have a webinar scheduled and planned to use breakouts... not realising this is only possible with a Sessions or Events package.

We figured this limitation out and I persuaded my team to upgrade to Events. So far so good...

But now I found out we only have a 100 seat events package (because thats all you can get if you only want a 1-month upgrade, the bigger capacity upgrades are available for 1-year only)

But now I'm really confused... which seat limit applies?? We still have the 1000 seat webinar license and over 200 registrants... and the webinar is still a webinar (albeit now with breakouts and other new features enabled).

Will the 200 people still be able to join? Or will Zoom cap the event at 100?

But how does Zoom decide (and hence how do I know) which limit applies? Surely it would be unfair to cap all our webinars to 100 now that we have the more expensive Events package, because we're still subscribed to Webinar.

So does the 100-seat limit only kick in if we use the new Events features?

Final bit of info: the settings still show "Webinar Size: 1000 attendees" for this event... so can I take it that the 200+ registrants will all get in even if I use breakouts?? Or will half of them suddenly get kicked out the minute I enable any of the new features from the Events package??

Any help most gratefully received! Thanks

I have two different Zoom accounts set up on Zoom One where different groups attend webinars at the same time. This morning at 12h30 SATS, both of the accounts crashed at the same time and would not allow the hosts back into the webinars. Both of the accounts were run on different PCs, different networks with back up power supplies and at different locations. What could have caused this and how do I prevent this?

I just ran a Webinar and configured it to 'Automatically start recording when session starts'. The recording was set to local.

I discovered after the webinar that there was NO recording. It hadn't started.

Am I a complete idiot or did Zoom fail? Now I have to record it again because many people didn't join but were offered the recording. This is NOT fun.

Thank you for any ideas!

Sharing only recording video and audio for a specific webinar.

Hi, How can I send a recording link without the transcript, chat, etc? I only want to share video and audio for a specific recording. Thank you.

Change country on registration

How do I change the registration address (mandatory but it shows no choice outside of the U.S.) to include Canada? I am NOT asking about dial in, but the registration page.

During a recent webinar my mac pro was alternative host. I was not able to choose share audio. I am reading in the community that the multiple sharing needs to be changed to single sharing.

Will zoom please add a tool tip in app for this? The current in app info tool was not clear about the problem or the solution. Any changes to this application where a solution is explained are welcome. Even at the bottom if the share window....But the multiple share and single share needs a chart or something so that non engineers can understand the features without reading 10 pages of text. And this feature of sharing audio is used frequently by users/ panelists/ co-hosts in webinars who did not create the webinar themselves. Thank you for considering these ideas.
