Hello,

My company is trying to add my account to the company account, but when I click on "approve the request" button on the email, there is some kind of error message saying "The user XX already holds an active account. (1,009)" Do you know how I can be added to our corporate account? I currently only have the basic, free account.

Sound terrible distortion when using an app during a meeting (Myinstants app) was fine before

While on Zoom call and then accessing Myinstants. app (makes sounds during call) the sound is terribly distorted.  Message says try closing apps, but no other ones open.   Thank you,

Has anyone else noticed that there is frequently (if not always) a badge icon on your Zoom iOS app indicating an unread chat message but when you go to read it, it is just a message you actually sent to someone else using the desktop app? This has been going on quite some time for me and has followed me to a new iPhone as well. So it is definitely not an issue with my specific app instance or even phone. Is this a known or common bug or is there something maybe going on with our account specifically? Apologies if this has been addressed before but I was not able to find anything similar when searching. Thanks.

Chat Encryption: Messages fail to decrypt randomly

Has anyone had issues in which chats will just randomly refuse to decrypt for certain users?  Most frequently it happens when someone views/sends a chat on one device and then attempts to view/send it on another device (eg the chat is opened on one's work laptop and that works, but then the user views it on their personal laptop and they can't view the chat).

But sometimes, it happens even when both users involved assure me they're only using one device.  And it seems to strike users at random.  Sometimes chats will fail to decrypt for one person and at no point does the "decryption key become available" no matter what they do--the chats simply fail to display for one person.  It even happens in group chats or channels where one person's messages will not decrypt for everyone else, yet everyone else's messages do.  And sometimes someone will tell me that nobody can view any of their messages, but then I send them a test message and they respond and we can both view each other's messages.  Yet the messages don't display for everyone else they chat with.  So it's a totally random yet persistent occurrence and I have as yet not managed to find a cause.

 

The way I used to fix this was to delete and re-create the affected user's account.  Which works like a charm, but this means they lose all their chats so many people aren't too happy with that solution.  Zoom Support once provided me with a cleaner.exe file which I can run on someone's computer and then re-install the latest version of Zoom.  This works for the most part, but sometimes we do this on someone's computer, and then a week later, the same encryption issue starts happening again.

 

So has anyone found a permanent solution for this issue?  And does anyone know the cause?  I wish Zoom would add some kind of functionality to get the encryption working more reliably because it does seem to get stuck for people frequently.

Hello - just posting a call out that I can't seem to find anyone else having trouble with. When zoom workspace is open and running in the background, the keyboard shortcut for a screenshot continues to interact with all other open and running apps which is troublesome since the shortcut for a new browser tab is also control+t. Can someone get this to your development team to change that shortcut to literally anything else, please?

Unable to Launch

Zoom has always worked ok.. Now I can't launch it at all.  I just get a message after I "Login"  to check my network connections.

 

but I'm connected and everything else works just fine.

Manually Changing Status

I have noticed that when I manually change my status to inactive and then back to active, that it then does not go back to changing my status to away when I am inactive after the allotted amount of time. Nor does it change to show when I am in calend... Show more

I have noticed that when I manually change my status to inactive and then back to active, that it then does not go back to changing my status to away when I am inactive after the allotted amount of time.  Nor does it change to show when I am in calendar items. Is there a way to do this once you have manually changed your status?

About six months ago, I was able to copy and paste from my computer to Microsoft Files--I was able to open up the file that I wanted to copy and paste into the chat column, but recently I have not been able to copy and paste.  

Can you please help me resolve this problem?   I need this matter resolved asap.  

I noticed posted in 2017, a problem, but it doesn't mention if the matter was ever resolved.

Dear all,

beginning today in the morning the Zoom chat is not operational for our company.

Message in Team chat: "No internet connection. Please check your network" -> Internet is working, that is not the problem;
When viewing the certificate: "Error code 1: DigiCert Global G2 TLS RSA SHA256 2020 CA1 certificate is not trusted."

Mobile phone app in another network is also not working (the Zoom Chat)
On zoom status page there is everything operational. 
But it looks as if the certificate issue is the problem.

Anybody else faces this problem? And has (hopefully) a solution for it?
