Zoom Room in contacts
Hello,
How can I add my external clients Zoom Rooms to my Contacts, so I can more easily give them access to meetings I start in my Zoom Room?
Thanks.
Ron

Dear Team,
We purchased the ZOOM ROOM licenses long back in my account and still my account is showing basic.
I am experiencing difficulty in enabling virtual backgrounds on the Zoom application for Ubuntu Linux (Version 5.17.1). Despite the computer being capable (as proven by successful background modifications in Microsoft Meetings), I cannot achieve the same in Zoom. Attempts Made: Searched for the ZoomMedia.ini file, including in /etc/zoomvdi/ and ~/.zoom, but it was not present.
Tried the find command (sudo find / -name ZoomMedia.ini) without locating the file.
Considered creating a ZoomMedia.ini file, but lacked specific configuration details for virtual backgrounds.
Could somebody please provide guidance on how to enable virtual backgrounds in Zoom on Ubuntu Linux? Specific instructions on locating or creating the ZoomMedia.ini file, if necessary, would be highly appreciated.

Having issues with Zoom Rooms on a newly installed Dell Optiplex. We never reach the main screen, when the application starts we get a blue screen that says "Connecting" and has a spinner to show that it is loading. This spinner freezes shortly after it starts and we are stuck on the "Connecting" screen. We have left this for over 24 hours to see if it's a slow connection issue, but it stays on this. The only thing we can do is CTRL+ALT+DEL to exit out, as any buttons on the screen do not work. We have tried reinstalling (both 64 ad 32 bit versions), changing the DNS on the machine, flushing the dns on the screen, removing all USB devices from the machine, tried over different internet connections but all have the same issue. Attempted to downgrade as well, however the downgrade process doesn't seem to work. Noticed a few posts on here having similar issues, so don't think it's an issue with our setup, but at the same time I can't see any issues on the Zoom status page. Anyone have an idea for fixes?

I'm looking for how folks have tackled what can't be a unique solution. I have a client in a shared office. They have a single conference room with zoom room set up. Anyone have suggestions for two or three companies sharing a zoom room and seeing a single calendar? 3rd party or native solutions ok, just need to solve this. Thank you! Jim

As I am updating hardware across our Zoom rooms, i am noticing its hit or miss with Crestron devices connecting to ZDM. I can have a site where 8 out of 10 connect, with the remaining 2 not connecting. This after updating firmware and rebooting. I just finished a site with 26 schedulers and non will connect. And the site has a controller that previously connected to ZDM. Crestron really did not have an answer for me.

I am experiencing an issue with the Zoom Room Controller application on my Logitech Tap IP device. The icons for Microsoft Teams Join and Google Meet Join are not appearing on the controller interface. The only icon that is currently visible is for Webex. I have already enabled the necessary configurations in both the account settings and room settings to support interoperability for Zoom Rooms, as per the guidelines provided. Despite this, the issue persists. Zoom room version : 5.16.5 Could you please assist me in resolving this problem? I look forward to your prompt response.

We're setting up a new room where the projector should be turned on or off from the touch panel, but if the device profile uses a public IP (i.e.: not a RFC1918 one) after a few seconds the error "Public IP is forbidden" appears. This does not happen in a similar setup in a different university (same company and hardware). What could be causing this? Our Zoom "super admin" says there are no options allowing or forbidding public IPs for Room Devices. Are there special firewall rules to use (external to internal; we have no restriction on that LAN for outgoing connections)? Thanks for your help. Luca Polo - University of Padua - Italy

Hello, It would be good to have some integration with ServiceNow to allow users to open a ticket directly from the Zoom Room controller. We could have some pre-define fields that users can select to open a ticket + a text field that user can describe the issue. Then, an automation of ServiceNow side can be done via webhook to dispatch ticket to proper team based on item selected by the user.

Hello, It would be nice if it's possible to change the police of the characters displayed on Zoom Rooms. For example, if we want to use a company police with certain color codes. Also, able to allow the police change on scheduling display for room name because we might have room name long enough that it doesn't look good on the scheduling display. Best regards,
