Im wondering if my theres an api that can create a breakout room, name the room and add Participates when users are in the zoom already.

1. Can create a breakout room, name the room and add Participates when users are in the zoom already.

2. Also an Api where the Breakout rooms can be opened and closed and user join regardless if they don't want to and cant leave the breakout but can leave the zoom call.

3. To Switch with API a Participates Zoom Room while in the Zoom Call

Our company has all of our Windows and iPads configured via ZDM. We have consistently had issues where iPads, Room Schedulers but mainly Controllers, do not reconnect to the Zoom Room. Our Zoom Room PCs have auto login enabled. The issue seems to have gotten worse in the past 6 months where this is happening more frequently after updating the Zoom Controller app on the iOS device. All of our iPads are running iOS 15.2 and they all have ASAM enabled. We have tested removing ASAM with no discernable difference. We also do not have a passcode on the iOS devices.

I've reached out to Zoom support and they are usually great but it seems like ZDM is not one of the things that they spend much time supporting. I usually just get an IDK response when asking any ZDM related questions. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have a pro account and have been using scheduled meetings for remote video acquisition. I schedule a meeting in advance and share the unique link out.

With the addition of NDI to Zoom Rooms, I have added this to my plan.

What I am struggling with is the lack of ability to advance schedule multiple meetings for the "room" and get the links.

I have integrated a gmail calendar, and those meetings show up on the room's controller, but the links only become available when I start the meeting.

Any help appreciated.

Is there a best practice for sharing different types of content to zoom rooms (powered by PolyCom X50 with a TC8 controller) using a laptop connected by HDMI cable?

We keep running into sharing problems.  Here is an example.  An instructor might start with a PowerPoint.  Then they want to go  (thru a different web browser) to a website to show video.  Or play audio.  When they come back to the PowerPoint, the slide deck on the shared screen is not showing what is on the laptop screen.  So far, the only solution has been to exit out of the PowerPoint (vs minimizing), then bring it back up. 

The process for sharing various media seems very kluge.  Beyond simply embedding everything into the PowerPoint, is there a more simple way of going back and forth between media when sharing to the meeting?

We had the original impression that we could share the laptop screen to the meeting in Zoom Room more freely!

Is there a way to create an extra breakout room during an active breakout?  Sometimes extra people ask for a breakout room once the breakout has started.  I can't see an option for that at the moment so have had to wait till that breakout is finished and then setup an extra room.

I had an issue reported to me recently to do with a large meeting, using several breakout rooms.  Issue was reported to me after the meeting had ended. 

The users had a meeting with 40+ attendees, and several breakout rooms setup beforehand. When the meeting started they reported that the breakout rooms vanished, and had to be recreated. No users were in rooms at the time they vanished.  

Having not been there at the time I didnt get to see it myself. Is there some timeout that breakout rooms have? Has anyone seen issues with pre-configured breakout rooms vanishing?

We have two iPads used up show the Exchange resource calender for each room using Zoom Room Scheduler.

When booking directly from the iPad the upcoming meetings update pretty much instantly. When a new meeting is added directly to the calendar from Outlook, the meeting takes an extremely long time to update. You can force an update by dragging down to refresh on the iPad.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting to quicken the refresh time?

On our previuos meetings (that were started for the zoomroom account or the zoomrooms account was invited) once every other user left the meeeting, the ZoomRoom continued the meeting by itself. Of cource it kept filming the room and the microphone worked.

How can I set a timer so whenever the zoomrooms alone in a meeting it will end it ?
