I have a User who reported the scenario:

 

User is in a MS Teams meeting (audio and video) on laptop (windows) when they receive an inbound call to the Zoom Phone client (softphone) on same laptop. The "Zoom Phone client rings and almost immediately, automatically answers."

 

Has anyone encountered this scenario before? 

User's zoom phone's call handling settings are 24x7 to ring on Zoom Application; 30sec before forward to voicemail. 

User has own DDI/Extension, and inbound call originates from external user who directly dialled this User.

User has no delegation nor associated desk phone. 

User has different audio devices available on their laptop, such as Dell HSC016 (external); LifeCam and Realtek (built in to laptop)

 

If we remove the User from the scenario, has anyone got any ideas why Zoom Phone might auto answer the call?

Tones dialed with Yealink VP59 Zoom Phone Appliances are not regularly recognized by IVR Systems

Tones dialed with our Yealink VP59 Zoom Phone Appliances (Keypad or App) are not regularly being recognized by IVR Systems. They are running Yealink VP59 91.30.0.21 with Zoom app 5.8.0 (293) and showing up-to-date on the Zoom Device List.

Disable - After hours extension dialing

I had heard that Zoom was going to disable the ability to dial an extension after hours.  Currently callers can dial extensions during the after hours IVR prompt.

Daylight Savings Time

Where do I setup DST for the phone system.  We are GMT-6 but the phone system chose GMT-5 since that's our current time zone because of DST.  In Nov we go back to GMT-6.  Is this automatic?

Mute incoming ringtone

Zoom...Please allow us to abiliuty to Mute incoming ringer while in meeting and calls. Would still like to see popup if possible. Its very disctracting to have ringing in headphones while in conversation. Another improvement would be to just mute rin... Show more

Zoom...Please allow us to abiliuty to Mute incoming ringer while in meeting and calls. Would still like to see popup if possible.  Its very disctracting to have ringing in headphones while in conversation.  Another improvement would be to just mute ring in headphone and make a different speaker the active ringer.
